It was a calm and average day in the light of the Pridelands. Of course, the happiness of the land never seemed to fade, for the pride was full of life. Kizamaji didn't like the area because of this, but he stayed for his mother, since he was deeply attached and afraid to leave her side.

Sprawling out playfully onto his back, the blue hued juvenile lion cub batted quickly at the air, amusing himself. Although his slight dislike for company, it did get pretty boring every once in a while to actually not have anyone else to associate with. The afternoon air was a nice one, a slight breeze blew his small tufts of 'mane' about, as he claimed it to be. He was just too rushed in growing up, instead of enjoying life as a young lion. How typical.

After simply getting tired of rolling around insanely in the grassy field, he debated on taking a stroll to the watering hole. It'd been quite a while since his last visit. There was sure to be life thriving near there, there always seemed to be.

In an instant, he flung himself up onto his paws and began the mad dash towards the water. His paw pads were dry and cracked slightly, chapped. As he approached the pool of liquid, he came to a haut, panting of exhaustion, tounge flung out. Kizamaji happily came to the bank and leaned over. As he came closer, he took a few heavy laps, which helped his parched, hot throat heal of pain. The water was cool to the touch.

After his wonderful drink he sat himself down and relaxed by the pool side, awaiting the arrival of any guests to the watering hole. It would be nice to have some company to chat or play with. Mother always mentioned all the cubs in the pride, but he had yet to spot any that would even bother with a blue cub.

Someone else was likewise feeling a little bored with the constant state of peace that these lands had. For the same reason that her parents chose to come here Mosi sometimes felt she'd die of. Boring security.

Alright, so truth be told she was really just bored today in particular, no Ezeoha anywhere to pester her, Jini napping, and she'd not seen any of the faces she met around the pridelands so far today. Maybe if she went out on her own she'd meet someone new.

She spotted a brilliantly colored blue and white lump up in the distance, and feeling a bit hopeful Mosi picked up her pace.

"Hey!" She called ahead, grinning a toothy smile as she drew nearer to the male.

He was a bit older than her, she noticed, not that she cared. Rounding to his front so she could smile down at him face to face, Mosi greeted again.

"Haven't seen you around yet. What's your name?"

Of course he could say the same for her. Mosi still hadn't ventured to Pride Rock or any of the other dens around the Pridelands.

The young male twitched as an other approached. Quirking a brow, he turned towards her, examining the younger female. I could say the same thing, youngen. Tha' name's Kizamaji. What brings ya to these parts of the pride without your parents watchin you?

Grinning, the blue male turned towards the water, envying it greatly, for it didn't have to associate with other lions. Atleast the pool couldn't talk. That was a good thing, otherwise this world would be upside down. You know, ya should be glad tha your in this here pride. Dangerous world out there. I've been out there. I know it can get borin, but really. Think about it. Kizamaji got up and turned away from the liquid cover ground, eyeing up the land before them.

Padding off a few feet, he sat down once more, his tail whipping lightly about in the tall grass around his bottom. Whas your name, girlie? He was attempting to act older. How stupid. He was almost an adolescent, yet he still acted childish at sometimes. A smile glittered on his muzzle, as he awaited a response from the oddly coloured female nearby.

User ImageMosi's brow quirked skeptically as the male answered her. Youngen? Her parents watching her?

Her expression shifted into a frown at the topic change. What in the heck brought that on? And why was he talking down to her like some old timer? D<

"I know that already, my parents were rogues before they came here." She muttered in annoyance. "My name is Mosi. And don't call me 'girlie' or anything else but Mosi."

She couldn't help but bristle a bit, her best friend's sister insisted on calling her simply "Rogue", and it made Mosi furious.

Glowering at the male's back, Mosi's mood had taken a considerable plummet. "You should know the answer to the other question, this place being so safe and all."

Another muttered trail of words and Mosi sat beside the watering hole, dipping her paw into the water idly.

Kizamaji backed up a bit, quirking a brow. He never expected such a small shrimp to respond with such a big mouth. Rolling his eyes, he sat down and grinned at the cub. I'm sorry I didn't call you by your name earlier, Mosi.

Somewhat interested in what she was doing, he padded over slowly, eyeing up the watering hole. He was between thinking about how much amusement this pool of water could give him, and before long, he lept in, making quite the splash.

User ImageWell, she certainly didn't expect him to be psychic, but she didn't like the feeling his patronizing nickname brought either, even if she didn't understand that was what this feeling was called.

"Yeah, well maybe you shouldn't go assigning nicknames for people you just met."

Mosi calmly stepped back, avoiding the brunt of the flying water, and simply shaking her head to loosen what little did catch her face, in irritation. "I'm probably almost as old as you are, anyway." She added as an afterthought with a tomboyish snort.

Kizamaji rolled his eyes madly. I will assign nicknames as I please. He grinned and swam around playfully in the watering hole, until she said another statement. And with that, he flung out instantly and came face to face with her. As if. I'm a lot more older than you'll ever be, shrimp.

User ImageMosi hissed lowly as Kiza got in her face, but didn't flinch nor back down. The only change her expression made was to scrunch in anger, and she was quick to fling her own retort, not at all sparing kind words.

"I might be younger and smaller than you, but at least no one ever mistakes me for a jackass."

She'd picked up the insult from her parents, having heard her mother throw it and a few other colorful words at her father when she got really riled up, and the same of Nukta, to Adanna, though he generally avoided the name calling-- he knew better.
