Say his name? Do you address him as the Persian, as Nadir (the Kay version's name)?
This is sort of random, but when you read the original novel or see the Persian written anywhere, do you ever read it as sort of... dramatic? As in, the PERSIAN! *Dramatic cape swish* That's what I thought the first time I read of him in the original book.

I tend to switch between all three.
Interestingly, my friend once compared me to Erik, and then I started calling her the Daroga since she was my sidekick. She got mad at being called a sidekick, but when I said she was either the sidekick or the fop she stopped complaining.

She got mad at being called a sidekick, but when I said she was either the sidekick or the fop she stopped complaining. Haha. That's fun. I call my friend Heather a fop all the time. We've even made up our own language for Fops. "Fopanese" XD But getting back on-topic, I usually call him Nadir or The Persian. Daroga makes me think of a hotdog.

All three. I named the Prince of Persia Nadir in honour of him. I'm so cool.

I switch depending usually on who I'm talking to about him. If the person has never read Kay, I wouldn't presume to call him Nadir (even though pretty much every phan knows that's his name in that version.). Usually, though, I stick to Daroga.

I stick to the Persian unless I'm talking about a fanfiction or something with a friend who's read the Susan Kay book. Then I call him Nadir. Thanks for answering, guys. I know it was a really random question, but what can you do? *Shrugs*

I'll use any of the three. In verbal conversations I usually use the Persian. For online, I usually use any of the three. For the RP I'm a member of I'm currently reffering to him as Daroga, though.

The Dirty Liar.
Because I'm convinced that the events the Persian described aren't acurate. (it just seems an odd shift from the rest of the book.) And when you take into account that in Islam it isn't a sin if you lie to an unbeliever....
or maybe I'm in denial.

I remember just reading it for the first time in the original novel and imagining him doing some sort of cape twirl. Or have Raoul say, "It's the PERSIAN!" And music in the background going, "DUN DUN DUUUUUN!" Or something. sweatdrop

Never Nadir. >_> As far as I'm concerned, he's not Nadir to me.
