The place ricked of death, the rumors were quite true it seemed. Rowan felt some regret in his heart for being told to go to such a place, but he hid that behind the courage he had grown over the years.Okay, the plan is as followed. Find the missing runaway boy and get his body back...the orders said body, they were already assuming he was dead. They assume too much, I got a feeling he is still breathing somewhere in this place. He continued throught the hot muck and held his breath until he found the road again, Rowan smiled, he was being watched.

"Little Jubei, hey...come on, no more tears." The little girl wiped her eyes and sniffed quietly, she looked up to Rowan."Are you mad?" Rowan showed her his best smile that he could come up with. "Of course not, just a little surprised and disappointed." "I'm s-sorry." "Nah, don't worry about it. Let's take you home, I still have a job to do after all." Little Jubei nodded. Rowan turned around and stared at the ground until he could see the path, as he walked along with the young child she gripped his hand, she was trembling. "Little Jubei, what's the-" Countless flesh eaters emerged from the swamp water, their gaping jaws hung open and they steadily moved towards their prey.

The smallest one lunged at him with it's sharp claws ready to take off Rowan's face. He plunged his foot into it's soft head, knocking it away. Two more appeared from behind, they swiped at him but he deflected their blows and sliced off their arms with grace.Hmm...pushovers. Without warning they all charged at him, Rowan gasped. He was not ready for this tactic at all, they piled on him and knocked him to the floor. He pushed as many as he could off him but that was not enough, they were attracted to his arm, the blood still moving. Many of them plunged their teeth into his wounded arm, but the bracers he wore held them back. "Get off..." Rowan rolled back and regained his footing, he killed three in an instant out of rage. There was still many left, just then, a little girls scream broke out. "My God...Jubei!"

Rowan glared at the beast, the spiders eyes blinked back at him with no emotion. "You chose the wrong person to mess with, prepare to die..." He rushed it and swiped at it's leg, it dodged him and swiped, Rowan flew back barely being scratched. Again he rushed it but went for the lower abdomen, he plunged the blades and twirled them inside it's flesh, tearing away at the muscle."ERCCCCHHH!" Not once had Rowan heard something so horrible, but he jumped out from under it and climbed up it's back. He quickly aimed his swords into it's heart, and finished it for good, the vile blood poured out covering most of his body with it. The giant spider crashed to the stone floor, lying in a puddle of it's own mess. "Good riddance..." Rowan cleaned his swords and sheathed them carefully.

By midday, everyone who was still alive was cut down. They were weak but they would make it, there were at least 17 including the small boy, a little more then he thought. All of them sat down meeting with one another, Rowan jumped upon the spiders corpse. "Everyone, listen well. I know you are tired but we need to get out of here. It's not safe, the fresh blood from this creature will only attract more."Look at us fool, none of us will get far!" A middle aged man rang out, he riled up the other survivors. "Don't waste your breathe, use it to move on. There's a small village not far from her where you may recover, follow me!" Rowan walked past the small crowd not looking back, Little Jubei ran to his side and gripped his shirt, he smiled at her. The little boy sat down up ahead, Rowan carefully hoisted him ontop his shoulders, he seemed to weak to move. The people watched him in silence but eventually followed closely after him, by sundown they were out of danger and came upon the village.

The day was early but if he didn't leave now, he would never be able to. The whole small brigade of people had stopped their morning chores just to see him off, he was humbled again. The village elder approached Rowan, a grand smile on his face, it reminded Rowan of a puppet they use in a festival. "Io Da, you have done so much for us. Protected us from bandits, delivered our traded goods, even saved our children from certain death. We are forever in you debt." Rowan looked at him happily. "Heh, don't worry about it, I live to serve others." The elder looked at him with admiration. "That's just like you, ever since you first came here. Must you really go?" Rowan nodded. "Yeah, I need to do more with my life. I've done what I can here and now I must move on and share my services." Rowan turned and began to walk away, he stopped one final time and looked to the elder, with a sad expression. "Tell Jubei...I'm sorry." The old man nodded and cheered him away, the village followed his example. Rowan would once again move out into the world and take the path fate has drawn for him.

Hrothgar tired after a long haul decided to rest for five minuites. He takes a moment to look around this unfamiliar place and notices nothing out of the ordanary. After a moments pass he decides to travel some more wondering where his journey would take him next.

A few hours pass and nothing extra special happend just the odd bird flying in and out of trees. Hrothgar had previously thought that the bird was fleeing somthing evil so he went on the hunt for whatever startled the bird. After finding nothing he gave up and continued on his journey soon forgeting about the bird and whatever startled it.

As Hrothgar continued he noticed a large bird of pray he was not familiar with flying over some sort of building. As he neared he could see that the building was a dojo. What a strange place to have a dojo he quietly thought to himself. He walked closer slightly concious of the large bird above him. He then realised what it was he had seen it in a book several years before while still a juvanile. It was an eagle yes it had to be. Hrothgar had remembered that eagles where the kings of the air and knew to have respect for them.

Walking slowly and cautiously Hrothgar walked up to the dojo and peered in. He then shouted in a mellow voice is anybody here then he waited for a reply
