Here are some facts i know:
1. Gaara is a Persian word for an extremely sour confection.
2. The darkness around Gaara's eyes is said to be a sign of his near-lifelong insomnia
3. his favourite foods are gizzard and salted tongue his least favorite foods are Yōkan (sweet bean jelly) and marron glaces.
4. Gaara does not seem to have any eyebrows.
5. Gaara resembles the Arabic word "Zaara" which means desert
6. his Relatives Fourth Kazekage (father, deceased), Karura (mother, deceased), Temari (sister), Kankurō (brother), Yashamaru (uncle, deceased)
7. he was born on january 19
8. 12 at the start now he is 15
9. he weights 40 kg
10. registration number is 56-001
what do you think

I think that 2 and 5 are real but I dont think the others are.

The rest are real, but she just got them from wikipedia dot com. Looks like the near exact same wording too.

1. might be true but as I don't know any persian I can't tell sweatdrop
and I doubt that Kishimoto knew this or paid any attention to this.
2. True, because that's the way it is explained in the manga.
3. This is subject to speculation, because we have had multiple threads,
where this has been discussed, but haven't reached a conclusion
and/or found out what is true.
4. yes, he doesn't seem to, doesn't he? wink
5. Pure coincidence as I have already mentioned in answer number 1.
6. yes, he has a family that consists of:
Father, Mother, uncle, sister and brother (the first three having passed away)
7. yes, we have already celebrated it too.
8. after the timeskip he is 15, and the first time he appeared he was 12
9. that is very unlikely don't you think?
seen that I am 165 cm tall and weigh close to 50 kg I'd say he doesn't weigh 40 kg.....
unless he:
1. is smaller than me
2. so thin that you could blow air through his ribs.
10. I don't remember but I think this is correct.

it's all true. And gaara has an extremely fast metabolism because of shukaku (notice naruto is underweight as well). they are also short for their ages.

Only number 1 i'm not sure.
Gaara is indeed in the realm of 40 kg. He was actually 40.1kg when he was 13 (the sasuke rescue arc and he turn 13 according to the bookl)Being a ninja, everyone is as thin as papers.

I know for sure that 2,3,4,6 and 7 are true. I'm also fairly certain that you got a lot of those of wikipedia, either that or from someone else who did.
