I have it on pc, I like it a lot more then the original Sims
Is the gamecube version as good as the pc version?

yes because u have classic contorl and then direct control!

I was worried that it might not be as good on the consoles so I haven't bought it yet, my comp is such a piece of crap it probably couldn't handle the software.

I only have that game on my pc, and I prefer it that way. Only beacuse I don't have that much memory left on my gc. sweatdrop

I love the Sims 2 but, only on PC I've played the Cosole versions and they're just not as good. I like the point and click feel of the PC game ^_^

I only have it for the PC, doubt it's any different from the consoles though.

I played the PC version and one for the DS. I like that in the DS you are kinda the sim yourself and have to read the emotions of the other sims while trying to calm them down or romance them or something. The whole goal of the DS one is you have to successfuly help bring this hotel back from the bottom up. And squirting alians with water guns is fun too. The pc version is like the orignal pretty much, make a family and have good fun or ebil fun. Either way it is entertaining for days and addicting for a long time for me.

my sister brought back her copy of sims 2 for the gc for me to play last week. the game is insanely addicting, but i got sick of it real fast. i like most video games, but making sure a person is on time for work, uses the bathroom, eats, has fun, etc... is not fun to me. it just got redundant very quickly. although i did enjoy customizing my character. that was pretty fun because of the variety of choices, but i don't think i'll be buying my own copy of the game. ^^;
