Intro: The primary purpose of the Knights of Sanc is to exist as a sort of anti-defamation league in defense of Relena Peacecraft, the leading lady of Gundam Wing. It comes as a rather depressing fact that even ten-plus years after Wing's ending, Relena is still hated for completely false reasons: she is not stupid, obsessed, insane, or any of the other accusations levelled against her by detractors. Increasingly, it seems that fewer people recognize her merits and give her the credit and attention she deserves. That's where the Knights of Sanc come in: to defend the Princess against needless insults and bashing, and to protect the concept of pacifism (but within reasonable limits). Rules: 1) Members must be intelligent, possess at least a basic understanding of English grammar and punctuation, and act in a polite, dignified manner. After all, not just anyone can become a Knight. 2) Members must like Gundam Wing (naturally), but must especially like Relena in all her forms (Relena Darlian, Relena Peacecraft, Vice-Foreign Minister Darlian). 3) This mini-guild is not specifically anti-yaoi. As long as you like Relena, that's fine. Just respect one another and don't force your beliefs on anyone. If any more rules come to mind, I'll add them in. Yes! As an avid Relena fan, and one who is constantly thrown into defending her position from the idiots of the internet, I would be humbled to be a Knight of Sanc.

Yay!! heart That sounds cool. I've always loved Relena, and wasn't made aware of the large hate-crowd till recently. Since then, I've been a strong defender.
Unfortunately, the anti-Relena thing was also a factor, or at least a sign, in the deteriorating relationship I have with a friend from school. She's anti-Relena no matter what I say..."She's too perfect"....urg. crying
I want to help stand up for Miss Relena.

Unfortunately, the anti-Relena thing was also a factor, or at least a sign, in the deteriorating relationship I have with a friend from school. She's anti-Relena no matter what I say..."She's too perfect"....urg. crying I want to help stand up for Miss Relena. Well then I guess she's really not much of a friend anyways, if something like this causes such a divide. Stand up for you beliefs; those that aren't real friends will drift away, and only your true friends will remain.

You know, I don't believe that I've ever heard anyone accuse Relena of being too perfect...usually, they complain about how IMperfect she is, saying that she's stupid or insane.
Still, I'm sorry that your friendship is strained by something as silly as personal tastes over a fictional character. Yeah, we all love Wing, but at the end of the day it's still just a cartoon and nothing worth breaking up a friendship.

She's not my favorite, but she's one of the only good female characters in GW. besides, she's more useful than Wu Fei(REEEEEEEEALY hate him). so I'm in.

LOL, thank you...I agree. The whole fuss just went to show that we didn't have the same basic values, really.
Anyway, call on me if anyone finds someone who is anti-Relena, because I believe I've heard about everything there is to say against her.
LOL, and Lacus!! No kidding. The pop star who saves the world is certainly a good one for comparison to Relena on this point. It would make a good thread topic actually...
