I thought it would be cool to make a thread just about the others and what they have been up to and to get all the information we know about them. In the finale we got some nice info about them...
1- Zeke's name is Tom
2- Fake Henry appears to be the leader of the others
3- Very willingly gave Michael the boat
4- Need Jack, Kate and Sawyer
5- Released Hurley
6- Abandon hatches
And names of the others-
1- Tom a.k.a Zeke, Mr. Friendly
2- Alex Rousseau ((unwillingly))
3- Fake Henry Gale
4- Bee a.k.a Miss Klugh
5- Desmond ((unwillingly))
6- Pickett
7- All the background others that we don't know anything about
And the ones that died-
1- Goodwin ((murderd by Ana Lucia))
2- Ethan Rom ((murderd by Charlie))
3- Kelvin ((murderd by Desmond))
4- Two unknown others ((murderd by Mr. Eko))
5- One unknown other ((murderd by Ana Lucia))
6- One unkown other ((murderd by Kate))
So now the others need Jack, Kate, and Sawyer for something but i have no idea what for confused pretty confusing.

Don't forget, Sawyer (or was it Kate?) killed an Other. And Kelvin and Desmond weren't really Others. I mean, they worked for Dharma, but that was about it.

I like how the Others were integrated into the plot, but the show seemed a bit taken over by them for a while.
The show was so full of flashbacks and Others' related plot that the show didn't move forward very fast, and not until the last few episodes did it regain it's spark. At least, that's what it seemed like to me.

tats cuz bernard saw goodwin in the jungle so bernard knew that goodwin was an other so yea... it was like bernard promised not to tell if goodwin gets help

So who are the Others?
People who were already on the Island before Dharma?
People who were put on the island by Dharma as a separate part of the experiment?
The Dharma people from the hatches who went primitive?
They must have something to do with Dharma, because they know that if you leave and try to come back, you won't be able to find the island. I assume that's part of the magnetic anamoly (natural, or man-made?). But since they know about it, and it's such a central part of the Dharma experiment, I'm assuming a connection.

I think I posted this, but I think that even evil can view itself as the "Goodguys" if there is a greater evil nearby.
Goodguys can also be pressed into doing things considered evil if they think the end will justify the means.
I think the others fit into one of these two groups.

The "fake Henry"'s name is Benjamin Linus ((I'm totally sure about the last name, I might have heard wrong)), in case you wanna change it up there. Though you probably already know and just haven't been on since to change it, I dunno...
But anyway, did anyone else get the feeling that there's a history with Juliette and Ben? The "You never made me soup" and that one woman's "Am I interrupting something?" started me on that train of thought.
