Fellow Islanders
Vasile DiRossiVasile had the distinct pleasure of being the one to "break the news" to Marlow his first night on the island. Over several months their friendshp turned to courtship. Originally using their circumstances as justification, Marlow looked passed the fact that Vasile was a man. With such a limited pool of prospects on the island, it's not wise to get hung up on particulars when you find someone you can talk to and who also happens to be willing to have sex with your tragic self. Any concerns about sexuality were erased, however, when Vasile's transformation completed, leaving him a foxy femme fatale.
The pair now reside together in Marlow's first story duplex
Ambrose Maurlius Marlow was introduced to Vasile's best friend Ambrose when the fox was indulging a need to show off. While Marlow usually doesn't think much of the wholesome, good-natured, always got your back types, he recognizes that Ambrose would be a good friend to have on the island. He consider's his approaching marriage to another islander a bit of pointless diversion, but is inspired by their example all the same.
Dr. Aubrey Lockheart Lockheart admitted Marlow to the Island and gave him his first injection. While at first Marlow believed they might have a lot to talk about (they were both in wheelchairs at their first meeting) he quickly learned that he'd been played. Further conversations with the woman have only hardened his dislike of her, though he's willing to take part in her hypocritical diversions if it means he can make Vasile happier.
William "Billy" Woodrow Marlow met Billy on a bad day, after the latter had been kicked out of his duplex. Level heads prevailed, and only ink was spilt. The mere thought of Billy turns his stomach, but not because of his charming personality. He fears that their fates will have far too much in common
Juanita "Nita" MacNeal Marlow and Nita met briefly while watching Billy's "tentacle tantrum." She spent most of the encounter hiding behind his chair, but Marlow doesn't hold that against her. She seemed like a nice, meek, furry girl.
image pending Antoinette "Antony" DevereuxMarlow's second most enthusiastic greeter to the island, she has offered on multiple occassions to make Marlow's stay more "comfortable." The pair alternate from being in perfect agreement to having polar opposite views. Marlow most appreciates knowing there is at least one person on the island he can share a cigarette with.
image pending Newton "Newt" FilinasThe pair met by near collision one afternoon while Marlow was on a "joyride" down one of the numerous hilly roads on the island. The encounter only became more disastorous when Newt "maced" the partially changed and therefore "infections" islander.
