Seeing as there wasn't one of these topics, yet;
And as there always is one, eventually;
Here it is.
What's your favorite Tech?
Techs, or at least how I define them, are any *special* attack that a character has.


And so on.

*Note that Magic does not apply, because it's not really a Tech, since (just about) everyone can (eventually) learn it.*

And, you can go as specific or vague as you want. You can just say you love all of Sabin's Blitzes, or you can name one (Bum Rush, or Phoenix Dance)

So, to start it off, here's mine:
I'm going to have to go with Lock's "Steal".
You give him a dual-weapon Relic, plus the Thief Knife (Attacking also causes a Steal attempt) and then a multiple-attack relic, and you get about 4 chances to steal. As well as dealing the enemy damage.
I'm not sure why you try to steal with both weapons, even though you've only got 1 Thief Knife, but it worked for me. It was interesting, whenever I attacked something...

Atk1: 90DMG...failed to Steal!
Atk2: 125DMG...Stole a Potion!
Atk3: 93DMG...Doesn't have any items!
Atk4: 120DMG...Monster died...

So, yeah. Post your favorite Tech. Because you knew it'd come sooner or later.

I was a fan of Blitzes only cause they rocked and so did Sabin, Shock was a close second with Dance as a third. You can't beat a nice Sun Bath in the middle of combat!

Relm's sketch is awesome, Rage was unpredictable and steal kept me a bit too preocupied.
I'm not sure if I have a favorite, so I'll go with Relm.

It just was...odd. I don't think I ever completed that sidequest, either.

Well, I suppose there are two classes of "favorite" as far as the game goes for me: most fun and most useful.

The most useful skill, obviously, is Blitz. It's like an overpowered bit of Street Fighter that they decided to throw in. Hell, the Aura Bolt handles the same as the Hadoken, and they even look similar.

The most fun skill is Relm's sketch command. Especially the first time, when you use it on Ultros. I love Ultros, and I love Relm! She's so cute, and he's so funny! Anyway, I like her's the most because it's almost useless as far as actual battling goes, but it's so much fun to use an enemy skill on them and have it actually pay off one time out of ten.
