All right, I've looked at the thread topics and haven't found one similiar to this. Though I should probably look at the first post in each... If there is a topic already for genres, please don't post and PM me instead, okay? That way, I can actually delete it without making someone with the power to. Haha.
Anyway! What is your favorite genre? Keep in mind that this thread is ONLY about genres. Do try not to get off topic. (And by the way, I'm not good with genres. Forgive me if I repeat one..XD;; )

Wouldn't want to try that.
But yeah. Power, thrash, death, fusion or whatever I'm argued with that Nevermore do, heavy... etc.

Metal specifically heavy, and Nu-metal.
I also like Techno despite having no respect for it.
I will actually seek out metal bands and usually just come across Tecno artists/bands.
Other then that I listen to a pretty diverse range of bands no specific geners because good music is just good music. My motto is i'll listen to anything once.

lessee...Funk, blues, reggea, underground hip-hop/rap, Cult metal, metal, old school metal, alternative, grunge, whatever Pink Floyd is, Classical, some punk...more whenever i can think of them...
...oh, and i am the Anti-Techno!!!!

Metal. specifically Folk-influenced Metal, like Thyrfing, alot of In Flames (though i like IN Flames better than any other band anyway), Finntroll, etc.

Hmm,
rock, alternative, pop, j-pop, j-rock, RandB, Rap, Latin, Reggeton, Country, SOME opera, techno, dance, and pretty much every genre out there EXCEPT NATURE! Nature music puts me to sleep, and that would be a waste of the day. heh.

My favorite types would be...Rock, Metal, J-rock/J-pop...Most any kind really except Rap and Country. Rap and Country are two types of music I just don't like. I tend to like instrumental songs. 3nodding

Keep in mind though that I can only put 10 different options... Not to mention what I said before. I don't know genres. I can't tell the difference.
As for me, I like Japanese, Country, and Gospel. I listen to other types occasionally. But again, I don't know what they are...>-<;
