Happy Easter!
I decided for holidays and various other special occasions I'd try setting up a weekend RP for everyone to enjoy. This has nothing to do with the current RP, so if you haven't RPed before feel free to play here. Keep in mind that whatever happens in this RP has absolutely no bearing on the "real" one. Personally I'm encouraging people to be as silly as they like and have as much fun as they like! (Note: The only tie to the current RP is Kameko, Delaney and Mikey's daughter.) This will "close" on midnight Sunday. Have fun!
Wanting to get away for Easter weekend the Turtles, Casey and the rest of us go to the farmhouse. We get there and are all set for relaxation when we hear a report on the radio about sightings of mutated "killer" rabbits attacking people.
(Another note: If you show up late don't worry about it. Maybe you came later, maybe you took a nap as soon as we got there and that's why you missed the beginning. The excuses are endless!!!)

Lady carried her stuff inside and immediately set it down on the floor with a loud thud.
"You know, we're only here for the weekend, I don't see why you had to bring two bags," Leo said.
"Oh that's easy for you to say, you don't wear clothes! I need backup! What if things get dirty? And you can never have too many pairs of underwear!"
((I figure we'll get to the radio broadcast once more people show up.))

Delaney walks through the door with Kameko in arms and smile at Leo and Lady, "We're finally here."
"Where's Mikey?" Leo asked looking out the door.
Suddenly Mikey comes busting through the door with about four suitcases and a gym bag over one shoulder, "I'm here Leo."
"You made him carry all that, Delaney?" Leo asked, "We're only here for one weekend."
"Okay, One: he wanted to carry it since I was carrying the baby. And Two: we have the baby with us during the weekend. You know how much of that stuff is mine and Mikey's? Maybe one suitcase... tops, the rest of the stuff is Kameko's, thank you."
Leo> sweatdrop "...okay..."
"You mind helping out a little, Leo?" Mikey struggled with the tower of luggage.

Leo dutifully grabbed some of the luggage and the two headed towards a room.
"How many rooms does this place have?" Lady asked. "'Cause I'm thinking there's going to be some sharing going on."
((I honestly have no idea of course. The only time I've "seen" the farmhouse was the movie when for some reason it was April's.))

ZeoViolet came wandering out of another bedroom, yawning.
"Are you all here already?" she murmured around a large yawn. "I came in for a little quiet before you brought in the calvary."
Her green eyes widened at the sight of so much luggage and those straining to hold it. "Holy hanna heaven, did you bring your house, too?"
Aw, very funny, Zeo," groaned Mikey under the weight of the suitcases. "How many did *you* bring in and stuff your room with, a dozen?"
"If you think I'm sharing my room, forget it. And I only brought one suitcase......and a box of books."
Don't tell me you are gonna bury yourself in between those pages all weekend!"
She noticed nobody argued with her about room sharing. Zeo was too private a person for that. Besides, she tended to read many books at once and read faster than the rest of them put together, so her books were everywhere.
"Don't tell me that, Mr. Deadly Towers of Comic Books!"
"At least Silver Sentry is entertainin', Man!"
"And he's also a cookie fiend." ZeoViolet smiled at him, remembering how one Christmas had been related to her. "C'mere, and let me help you with those suitcases before you crack your shell."
Leo, who'd been standing, silent and amused, at this, was trying hard to stifle a chuckle, and wasn't quite successful. Zeo saw this and gave him a quick wink, before moving to lug the suitcase she held into another bedroom.

Delaney held Kameko with one arm and grabbed the gym bag with the other, "Hey, Lady if you don't mind I could used some help in the kitchen for some bottle detail. Besides that, I would like to get a head start on egg dying."
((On that note, I'm off to work. See you all tonight!))

"Sure thing!" Lady followed Delaney into the kitchen. "I guess Leo, Mystic and I will just share for the weekend." She was almost in the kitchen when she did a double take. "We're dying eggs? Sweet!!! I haven't dyed eggs in years!"
Once inside the kitchen Lady instructed Delaney to sit down while she prepared the bottle. Delaney was a little nervous, wondering if Lady could actually manage to get a bottle made and not hurt herself but she was pleasantly surprised when Lady presented her with the bottle in question. "Ta daa! See, I'm not completely incompetant!"

Mystic bounced in behind the others with her bag, which just held enough essentials for the weekend. "I love it up here," she announced, breathing in the fresh, slightly musty air of the house. She found Leo and Lady in the kitchen with Delaney and Kameko. She gave Lady a sisterly hug, and then moved to Leo, kissing him deeply.

"Hey you two, none of that in the room! It could get weird y'know... the three of us... in the room together... if I have to put my headphones on to block you two out..."
Leo blushed and Mystic couldn't help but laugh at his reaction.

My knowledge of Kameko's unusual, if cute, physical anatomy is thanks to Lenoardo Mystic, because I have never read the other RP....

Having set down the suitcases, Zeo followed them into the kitchen. "Cool--egg dying!!!"
She couldn't help smiling as she walked over and chucked Kameko under the chin.
The little girl stared into her green eyes, her hazel ones full of thoughtfulness, and she gave a small smile at the extra attention she was recieving.
Zeo noticed Delany's arms trembling, as if her arms were overly tired.
"Want me to take the baby?" she offered just in time.
Delaney smiled at her gratefully and relinquished the baby into her arms. "Thanks. She gets a bit heavy after awhile."
"Gravity does that to you," answered Zeo pertly, snuggling the baby against her with the little auburn head cradled in her shoulder. Absently she patted the small, soft-shelled back while Lady checked the bottle she had prepared once more, checking for temperature.
Delaney rubbed her aching arm and shoulder for a moment. "I will take her back in a sec....gotta feed her, ya know."
ZeoViolet smiled. "I know."
The baby nuzzled her small face in the crook of Zeo's shoulder, smelling her lilac scent. From the way she kept nuzzling Zeo knew she loved it.
"I've been around Lilac trees lately," she answered Delaney's puzzled expression. The baby was loathe to be moved from her arms--or comforting scent--and would have howled when Zeo reliquished the baby back to her if Delany hadn't quickly plopped the bottle into her mouth, distracting her.
The rapid sucking on the bottle told her she'd succeeded.
Zeo watched this with a smile. "She knows what she likes. I'm going back upstairs to read. Let me know when the egg dye is ready."
With that, she strode out of the kitchen.

Mystic grinned. "It is going to be kind of strange with all us together in one room, but it could be fun." She kissed him again.
(Okay, if she starts going all giddy here it's because I get the same feeling around this time of the year. whee )

"Well let's just not mention it to Casey, you know what he'll have to say about it." She laughed. "Anyway, I don't think it'll be strange! It'll be like a sleepover... sorta..."
Bounding to the fridge she grabbed some eggs. "Hey, do any of ya'll know where the pots are? Somehow I doubt just tossing these on the burner would do any good."
((I wish I had your enthusiasm. Here I'm missing my childhood since with Ryan Easter isn't a big deal.))

Mystic laughed. "I think they'd be in a cupboard somewhere, but I'm not exactly sure where." She wrapped her arms around Leo's neck, and nuzzled.
(Well, that's not the main reason, but it's one of them. I'm talking "call of the wild" kind of thing. You may have to pry her off Leo. xp )
