i know i already posted this once befor but i can find it now but i made a bet with some one a long time ago when i first got my marker and that was to see who could get the highest velociety and well i won cause i got mine up to a crazy 450 fps, hence the name bonedaddy 450, and recently i got it up even higher i dident have a crono so i dont know how high, and befor people were saying that it would lower the accuracy of my marker and well it made it better than befor, when i get a chance ill see if i can get a video of it and put in on gaia have you ever herd of other people doing this. P.S. NO I DONT PLAY WITH SUCH A MENTAL SPEED THATS JUST TO CRAZY, but i have been shot buy my marker it wasent as bad as what i thought it would be.

Shooting at that high of FPS can't be good for your gun shooting at that FPS.
I've only been shot by alittle over 300 FPS and its still not fun to get shot by even that much. I only go close to about 300 FPS when on 10-man size fields and I know I'm going to be playing backman. For 5-man fields which I primarly play on I use 250-260 FPS area, it gets the ball across the field and I don't leave any bad marks on people. I find no need to shoot 290-300 FPS on a 5-man size field I find it that people who shoot this high just want to be A-holes and overshoot someone and leave a huge amount of welts.
You shouldn't be out on a Paintball field if your our there to hurt someone, you should be out there to have some good safe fun.

You should not be shooting more than 300. Most goggles are only regulated at 300 so if you shoot soeone on their goglles their more likely to get severely hurt.
As for leaving welts, shooting far too close to someone will also give them welts.

its not uncommon for a airsoft gun to shoot that fast some you even need a licence for if it shoots over 500 fps but paintballs are a diffrent story.

I was looking at some Airsoft guns and at first I was like "WOW" and then I noticed the majority of higherend ones shoot that fast, but thats a small little plastic BB your getting hit by and not a .68 Caliber ball of paint.
