On opening subject of Ursa:
Hell, I told you most of what I know. Ursa was this big a** feien female with spiky pink hair and either blue or green skin. Think it was blue... I'm pretty sure she was an ancient, now that I've been stuck with Aleric for a while. She liked to work out, stuff like trudging through snow on freezing cold days. Called people "Honey."

She was tall, but hell, I was a kid at the time, most people were "tall" back then. But I think I saw her when I was an adult for a moment. She was still ********' huge. But damn, who doesn't like a well rounded female? We were going to have a poker game, her, me, and that little rat b*****d Cascati. It just never happened.

And after a while she just stopped showing up at the shop, you know? It happens.


Do you know who she was bonded to? Did anyone else besides you and Cascati have contact with Ursa?

Nah, never met her bond. But I think... Damn, it's a little blurry, it's been a while. But I think she was training Bannana Tango. Hey, I haven't seen her in a while either, did she go missing too?


I'm afraid I don't have that information. Have you met any of these feien?

Tostan, I think... And Calico. But hell, I think everyone met Calico sooner or later.

Tosten I met once, just for a moment, at least I think that was his name. Little blue guy with paint markings? He was looking for a friend of his and came into the bar that Averno's bond runs. Think Shala... Shali... What the ******** was Bleach boy's real name again? Well, whatever it was, the little b*****d had gone missing, and the blue guy was looking for him.

Or something like that.


Do you know of anyone else who knew Tosten? How long ago was this?
Can you tell me about the bar?

Damn... It must have been almost a year and a half. I'd only been around for about a month or so, maybe less. And no, not really. I tried to avoid feien back then. Hell, I still try, but they keep coming to me...

The bar's ran by Averno and Arae's bond, Jhiri. I've met her a few times, doesn't seem quite as ditzy as Ice. It's just a bar, with a little area set up for feien, you know, mini chairs and tables. For a little while Ruya got a job there... Let's see...

Yeah, that's where I saw Calico. He attacked Averno, and she went on about that for almost a year. Learned how to fight with that toothpick of hers.


Calico. Tell us about him.

Calico was this juvenile... dark brown guy with yellow and red markings. And this ******** up hair, dredlocks, or whatever the hell they're called. I never really talked to him, but he and Averno seemed to hate each other. He watched her, you know? But more like a hunter than being... interested.

I skipped out, leaving the two still in the bar, and the next time I saw her she said he attacked her after I'd left. But I didn't see him again after that happened.


About how long ago was this?
Are there any of the other feien you can tell us about?

Over a year, almost a year and a half ago. Back when I was just a kid. And... Not really, no. Hell, half the time I don't even notice names. Feien come and go, after all. Seems a waste of my time to try and keep track of all of them.

STATEMENT SUBJECT: Calico

Calico? Is he still around? I haven't seen him since I dumped a cup of hot tea in his lap. I didn't know what his name was back then, Silva figured out who it was from my description later.

STATEMENT SUBJECT: Tavern

That would be where I dumped the tea in that b*****d's lap. He was one rude little p***k. And when I didn't let him mouth off to me without consequences, he became physically violent and assaulted me. He grabbed my hair and yanked it, threatening me verbally. So I dumped my whole cup of hot tea in his lap. Thankfully he left rather than attacked further. I'd only been out of my bloom a few hours at that time.


Did you ever encounter Calico again after that point, or hear any news of him?
Could you give us Calico's description?

He was small, loud. Orange eyes, yellow and red markings, dark skin, had dreadlocks. He was temperamental, and had a weird accent.

Never heard from him again. I'd like to think a scalded lap convinced him to leave me the hell alone.


His bond had another feien, Tosten, a blue feien. Did you ever meet him? Perhaps when he was looking for a white-colored feien?

Averno shook her head. "Don't know of anyone named Tosten, or anyone who came looking for someone else. I wasn't always at the tavern. Just when Sajhiri told me I needed to be there. Manual labor isn't my thing. Why all the questions anyway? Something happen to Calico or this Tosten?


We're currently investigating their whereabouts. Perhaps you've encountered any of these other feien, or heard them mentioned?

Have you noticed any strange occurances concerning feien over the past year and a half?

I guess that depends on what you'd consider strange. I had my magic teacher up and disappear on me. Corvus, you might have heard of him. That was a bit disturbing. A pile of us were poisoned with cupcakes, I guess by Cascati. Then he apparently died or was killed or something. Then the shop went bye bye and a whole fleet of rejects from the Sci Fi channel showed up and took over my life. So yeah, I guess you could say those were strange occurances. (sarcastic)
