I wan't to read people's conversions stories here. I always always love hearing them, reading them, or whatever.

I"m also trying to figure out the best way to get several of my non-member friends to go to church with me. They are all really really good people.
And I was able to get one of them to come with me, but he said he was just doing it for educational purposes (He's interested in what makes people tick, not necicarily that, but learning more about just people in genneral.) He's going to be coming again in a week or two, I hope. I'll just have to keep at him.
One of my other friends is an agnostic.
He used to go to church(which church I don't know yet), but then he saw a lot of hipacrates(sp) and decided to leave.
Another friend grew up as a Jehova's Witness, but after a while stopped (donno exactly why, we mostly talk about Sign Language rather than religion) She doesn't mind/likes talking about different people's beliefs and such, she finds it interesting, and she said she would go with me to church if we went to a deaf branch. Which is a good 45 mins-hour away from where I live.
The last friend I can think of is really strong in her own church, she goes every sunday with her family. I"m not sure what religion she is... I'll have to ask her some time.

I'm mainly just trying to find a way that would work best for each of them I'm deffinitly not going to try and force them to come to church with me, that would just drive them away. I'm just trying to figure out what part of the gospel they would be more interested in, in order to look into the rest of it.

So... I guess it's Conversion stories, and help with converting?

Have at...

in your religious conversations casually bring up values and beliefs. like, when they talk about a cute mini skirt they saw at a store, tell them about how Heavenly Father prefers modesty, etc...if they are really into theology like me, then just sit down with them and present our beliefs to them and see how they interprat those parts of the Bible and have a little debate(not a contentious one, a peaceful one). *nod*

OR, just give them a copy of the BoM and make them promise to read it and pray about it. then they will come to know the truth of the restored gospel.

Yeah, One of the things I've learned about giving a BoM to people is I need to check in on them to make sure they are actually doing it, and possibly read it at the same time with them.
