Telk hastily became a globe of shadows, dark and lingering with the dipping star casting rays of golden light--dimming with the passing seconds. His silhouette moved with little hesitation, the knowledge of nightfall approaching giving him that bounce in his step. A needed push that always kept the canine moving through the night.
Details of why his hours that should be spent resting, were spent running won't be acknowledged now for the problems and horror's they tend to bring are no better then pulling all nighters. He had become a common insomniac, finding it fairly simple now to keep his eyes wide and still feel little need for sleep. Shutting them would only entice his will and desire to look about, his trembling fear always arousing dreadful moments where visualizing something not there occurred. Bumping into things had also become a hazard, and little food and water had thinned the boy out yet he was capable of living on for--oh, one would say another few months.
Flicking his tail, he made a short trip over a miniature hill that was littered with large tree's. The deep and thick aroma of his father became more apparent here, now that he was centered near a large boulder. He must be drawing nearer. This was a good sign, even though the male had forever since that faithful day vowed not to return for visits until things were settled. Spastically, the male roamed towards the natural lift and once upon it pressed his belly against the cold, hard surface. Rolling his eyes to and fro, he hesitantly lifted his muzzle into the air eyes wide with weariness, and inhaled. Yes--his assumptions were accurate and indeed Catalyst and Kalia's pack grounds were close by.
Talamar looked to his feet, then to the ground underneath the rock and leapt off his perch, shaking his pelt and making an attempt to gather himself. If he was to see Kirra now, in this state, he knew he'd only worry her. He needed to get in contact with the bulky female, yet a howl would only lead him to his discovery, and so he spun on his heels, looking this way and that before bounding into the foliage once again, soon coming up to the den site.

It was about the time when Catalyst and Kalia were well in their dens and fast asleep. He figured that if Kirra was indeed where he believed her to be, she'd be resting not far off from the dirt cavern, yet not all in. He had grown to notice that Kirra wasn't close to any particular creature--not even Catalyst who even though took her in and showed overwhelming kindness, wasn't always there. He too had become accustom to Kalia and Catalyst's in and outs at times, while they were preoccupied with building their packs, the pups would be shoved off to the side--probably one of the reasons why Talamar's lies always worked even better then he hoped.
Pausing momentarily, he peaked through the thick collage of tree's and squinted, attempting to pinpoint some sort of figure outside the den, yet he saw nothing. His groan was auditable, yet it most likely wouldn't travel all the way to his parents, though he was sure his scent would eventually. Kirra's scent was so close, yet he couldn't make out the old from the new, making the search for her quite difficult. Moving his paws over the terrain once again, he started in a different direction, a more promising one it seemed for the earth emitted the strong aroma of the female.
She must've gotten bigger, that is in weight--for the good of course. He knew his parents to be kind people and he knew they wouldn't let the girl starve, although he had taken heed of their disregard for the rest of the pack mates. His nose traveled the ground, moving quickly over the patches of grass and the thick swarms of bugs that rested at the woods floor. Gradually, he came to the edge of the pack lands himself, his pace never lessening while approaching it. He felt a gust of familiar smells and noticed the strength in each whiff he took. Now, with a greater hope, he began a short sprint towards the source, finally reaching a bushel of shrubs that separated him, from the now more feminine female Kirra.
'uuh' came a low sigh, not much of a question but more of a sound he made that signaled his great appreciation for her newly found beauty. She had always been a gorgeous creature to him, yet with her filled body and less masculine bulk, she appeared much more of a female then she had the previous weeks. His breath caught short as he took a step from behind those bushes and paused, his tail swaying gently. 'Kirra--' he panted softly, feeling as if it had been years since their last encounter. He took another step, and froze in his place, his ears shooting up with curiosity. Lamely, he awaited her response and wouldn't speak a word till.

Talamar at once expected the female to come and rub her smooth coat against his own rough and dirty one, only wishing not to destroy her glamorous look, however direly wanting contact from her. When finding she froze, looking towards him in bewilderment, he felt sorrowed, but began his tail wag in reaction to her own. 'Kirra, how good it is to see you.' her words caught him one after the other, and finding it difficult to reply to each after spoken, he simply stood silently, his silver gaze soft and hazy.
'Returned--I've returned, yes but not for long. I must be leaving again Kirra, you see my family, as you know, haven't been getting along. I am well off on my own though and mind you I am going to be just fine! I simply had to see you--if not for the last time.' his smile was crooked, yet here it was and promptly, his teeth poked from the black lips that sealed them away. He felt a tug at his own throat, yet unlike Kirra's it was simply the fighting of tears. His body shook slightly, as if a cold breeze just blew by and nearly knocked him off balance. The darkness couldn't shield his weak form for long, and he figured this much. Punting this thought, he gradually approached the female again, and casually ran his bulky head against her own, a low groan rumbling attentively. 'I'm sorry as well--yet I cannot, and will not try to change what has been done. To much pride I suppose--' his body stumbled as he attempted to remain on Kirra's shoulder, his nose just barely capable of taking in her full scent.
'Ah! I'm so sorry for that, my balance hasn't been up to par as of late.' he chuckled weakly, pacing back and hiding in the shadow's once again. 'Pardon that Kirra--it was of impulse. I--I've truly missed you.'

Talamar felt his limbs quiver under his weight and as if he all the while meant to, he fell to his rump and chuckled--this sounding more like a wheezing cough then anything else. Listening to the older female bothered him, and as he cleared his throat to speak, he felt her uneasy reality towards the situation. If it was indeed just that.
Flexing his toes against the dirt, he sighed, keeping his gaze towards the ground. 'I do not wish to speak with my parents Kirra. I have indeed come back to see you, and only you.' he took on a stern tone, his ears flicking back against his skull. The thought of returning to see his parents didn't even seem like something he'd do--didn't seem natural for the time being. Feeling his hackles raise uncomfortably, he looked away, whiskers puffing with building rage.
'I'm quite alright. Just a bit thin, that's all.' clearing his throat, he shifted his weight, the second mistake of the day beside returning home. Feeling the emptiness within his gut, his shift turned into an inner push, and concluded in him toppling over with a wince. He breathed in the dirt, the air and shut his eyes briefly. The pants he began to emit were airy and hoarse. He curled against the earth, feeling his stomach pull and twist in awkward ways, as if he'd just pulled a muscle. Whining and grunting, he made an attempt to roll on his belly, making it successfully. From there, he looked to Kirra and whimpered softly, his eyes widening with worry. 'Kirra--I've lied! I am not well at all, I've been sick ever since running away. Maybe I was bit by something, or maybe it's the lack of food. I cannot cope with life on my own Kirra! Please, run away with me. Kirra, I love you, run away with me please!'
He was tainted now by the utter emotion that welled inside and the heat of tears began to burn the retina's that looked on towards the female. He brought his body onto his stilt like limbs, knee's bucking and thighs squeezing. His eyes darted to and fro, and his maw hung open wide. He had gone back to his state of insanity and felt no shame of showing his friend his pain. He breathed with his tongue dangling from his agape maw and took steps back. 'Hurry Kirra--Hurry we must leave this place. Dangerous it is dangerous. Come Kirra, they do not care! That they don't, they do not care! Please, come with me Kirra. I can love you, I can love you I can.'
Rambling. Incoherent rambling.

Talamar winced at her touch. It was something he wanted, yet not in this fashion and uneasily he pulled away every time her head ran to his. 'Please--Kirra you do not understand! I need you with me--come with me.' he breathed heavily and stumbled further back, near the tree line were he fell to his rump with a gasp.
Was she truly pushing away how he felt for her? Was she in love with another wolf, much more of her type then he? His teeth bore for a brief moment, eyes puzzled and hazy, and lifted onto his legs again. He was thinking fine, and with every word Kirra spoke, his anger simply grew stronger. Finally falling another weak step, pushing his belly close to the earth, he gripped the earth and stayed put. 'Kirra--I need no help other then yours. Please.'
If she wouldn't have him the way he wanted, then he'd run away again, and never again would he have purpose to come back. 'Love me.' he bellowed, his gaze becoming wild. 'Love me! LOVE ME, LOVE ME, LOVE ME!'
