I'm not sure if anyone here has heard of Symphony X (besides owentheyo), but they are quickly becoming very enjoyable to listen to, what with the album The Damnation Game. Russell Allen has an incredible voice, and I could probably rightfully say that he is one of my favorite vocalists, besides Timo Tolkki from Stratovarius. If anyone hasn't heard of Symphony X, I might be able to help you. PM me if you're interested. But for those who have...what is your favorite Symphony X album?

I've only got The Divine Wings of Tragedy and V at the moment, both of which I highly enjoy. I actually just started getting the rest of them yesterday. Yum. 3nodding

I've first heard Symphony X ages ago. A jazzy friend lent me Divine Wings Of Tragedy and I absolutely loved it. That voice was amazing. I fell in love with the song of Sins And Shadows and The Accolade. However, I don't remember much of the other songs on the CD. I think I have it around somewhere. confused
I also got to hear The Odyssey, borrowed it from the same friend, mainly for the Accolade II. I really loved that song. razz
"Into the morning sun, down his chosen road he rides to save the world" was scribbled all over my notebooks and files. xd
Nyah. Again, I don't remember the rest of the songs.

Symphony X rocks. Heard them for the first time a couple of years ago.
However....
I don't have any of their albums but I've heard three or four of their songs. I'm a really big fan of the song "King of Terrors."

Symphony X is wonderful. I saw them live at the Metro in Chicago a few years ago. Devin Townsend opened for them. The show was amazing and they sound great live. Plus: they did the Odyssey, one of my favorite songs by them. 24 minutes of pure bliss.

Hell, Symphony X is killer, period. Since you like Symphony X, you must like Stratovarius. Another good power metal band, this time from Finland! Finnish bands rock (EXCEPT H.I.M., of course)
