Welcome to the SRC Sniper! Okay, so here's how it works.

The game needs people, obviously. Lots of them, because that makes it more fun. To enter, just message me.

How this works is that there's a sniper, randomly chosen by me. Every day, the sniper must message me saying who they wish to kill. Similarly, every day, the other participants of the game must post in this thread and vote for who they think the sniper is. The person with the most votes at the end of each round goes to jail. If the person voted out is the sniper, then the game ends - otherwise the sniper's target gets killed. In the event of a tiebreaker, nobody gets sent to jail, but the sniper's target still dies.

Daily votes, snipes, and protects must be sent in by 6 PM AEST (GMT +10), or they won't be counted! If you need help, this post was made at 3:29 AM AEST, do the math.

There are a number of roles in this game:

Members
Everybody starts with this role, and everybody in the game wants to convince others that they're in this role, even if they aren't. Otherwise, you could be killed or get sent to jail! That's the entire foundation of this game.

Sniper
This is the main character of the game. As said above, they need to contact me daily and tell me who they'd like to shoot. If, at the end of the day, the members don't figure out who the sniper is, their target dies. It's very important for the sniper to conceal their identity! They talk amongst you, but work against you.

Capturer
At random points in the game, I may appoint a "capturer". Their job is to identify and kill the sniper entirely on their own accord. If they choose the sniper, they will become the sniper. Otherwise, they get sent to jail (murder, y'know).

Protector
Really simple. They're like the exact opposite of the sniper; each day, they must tell me who they wish to "protect". If they choose the sniper's target, then they'll be saved. They're also immune to being shot.

Jailkeeper
The name says it all, they watch over the jail and make sure nobody gets out. If the sniper kills the jailkeeper, the jail people will escape.

The fun part is how you conduct yourself in the thread. Spread lies, drama, suspicions, and all that jargon. As long as you follow the rules, there's no limit to what you can do! You can lie about your role, cheat, tell your friends, etc. It's all allowed!
