Original Characters, please. =3 (They are rarely separated, and I don't particularly like to either. This...will be long. >_>)

Name: Crystellia (She likes to be called "Chrys" or "Chrystie")
Age: about 13 or 14
Species: Half-dog demon (Mother's side)
Biography: Born in a small village, the young Crystellia learned the sad ways of the world very early in life, before she could remember much. She was brutally attacked by villagers when her demon mother and human father were away, entrusting her to some supposed friends. Her mother, desperate to save her young daughter when she returned, transported her to another dimension and time of her world to keep her alive, arranging for her to be raised by friends from that period and area. She grew up in California, USA, forgetting everything that had happened then, and even forgetting her real parents, thinking that her foster parents were her biological parents. She loved California, but longed to see more of Asia, and her foster parents finally acceded to her wishes. She enrolled in a Japanese middle school as a transfer student, and began her life there. She soon realized, after many strange events, that she wasn't who she had long thought she was. She could control magic, and even had small white dog's ears. She learned to travel between dimensions and eventually time periods, which resulted in a happy reunion with her biological parents. It also resulted in filling a prophecy, which was said that a half-dog demon would be bound to a magical sprite, and they would be the guardians between dimensions. The sprite, Mizuho, has been her travelling partner ever since, and they visit many places and meet new people. She wandered upon this dimension randomly.
Attacks/Techniques/Weapons: Chrys uses magic attacks, and occasionally summons a strong magic staff, which she also wields as a sword. She has, over her travels, become a ninja, among other things, but she uses her jutsus sparingly, preferring magical and weapons combat.

Name: Mizuho
Age: Unknown, though she looks like a child
Species: Sprite
Mizuho, unlike Chrys, was the second born in a soon-to-be large family. The oldest girl, she looked after her family while a child, helping her mother and learning magic. She advanced abnormally fast, and her stores of magic grew abnormally large. She soon, with her magic, tamed a space of a dimension, partially with Earth time, partially with very, very, very slow time. She used this for carrying many things, and it was always available. But she experienced her share of sadness too. An enemy village of sprites burned her village to eliminate them, but they all escaped. Eventually, the sprites of her village returned to the old village and rebuilt it, but the sprite never forgot how powerless she felt against her oppressors. One day, Chrys traveled to her dimension, and they became close friends. They soon found out that they were bound by destiny, and although they didn't know it, they fufilled a prophecy during their meeting. Mizuho decided to travel dimensions with Chrys, and has since followed her everywhere, rarely separating for long periods of time.
Attacks/Techniques/Weapons: Mizuho usually uses short- and long-range magic, rarely using weapons since she is rarely countered when using magic.


Chrys yawns and stretches as she sits up from the green grass and rubs her eyes. She calls, "Mizuho! Where'd ya go?"
"Over here!" returns the small sprite from by some bushes farther away. "I'm gathering berries and things for that giant, never-ending hole you call a stomach!"
Chrys laughs heartily. "You don't have to be so rude about it!" She walks over to the sprite, looking into the bucket that she had conjured up. "How much've you got?"
"Enough for breakfast, anyways," says the sprite, pulling the bucket away.

Suddenly Chrys' ears twitch as she hears the movement of another nearby being. She suddenly feels their presence, and wonders why she didn't notice it sooner. After breakfast with Mizuho, the two went wandering in the direction of the presence.

Kagome sensed a Shikon jewel piece close by. Northeast to be exact. "Inuyasha! Where are you? I sense one! Hurry!!" She called out to Inuyasha and ran towards Sango and where she had last seen Miroku. After telling them the news, she waited impaitiently for Inuyasha. "Where is he? It's not like him to miss a Shikon jewel!"

Sango goes into the bushes and changes into her taijiya uniform while Kirara in her sabretooth form keeps Miroku from peeping. Once changed, she steps out and shoulders her boomerang.

"It'll be faster if we all ride on Kirara," she says. "Ready, girl?"

"RAWR!" answers Kirara.

Sango climbs on Kirara's back and gestures for the others to climb on.

Kagome climbed on, worried. "Where's Inuyasha? He should be here by now." She held her bow and arrows tightly, and frowned. Oh well, if Inuyasha wasn't here, he had a good reason, she hoped. She suddenly remembered one crucial detail, Naraku. What if he was up there?

With a sigh of exasperation, Sango lowers her boomerang onto Miroku's skull.

Kagome groaned and lept down, dragging Miroku away. "Would you focus? Inuyasha's not here and were on our own. So just think about the task at hand!" She slapped the monk and walked away.
