As we all know, Kozi has a fanbase in the United States/Canada. But, does Kozi know? That's what we would like to correct. If you've been to Kozi's website you would notice on the side, there is a place to fanmail him called "To Kozi". Our idea is that we gather as many fans of Kozi's solo work and have them all send him a "To Kozi". If each one of us sends him a "To Kozi" he will become (or hopefully) more and more aware that he has a fairly decent sized fanbase in the states. He might even begin to realize that possibly these fans might want to attend a concert if he held one, or join a fan club if one was set up, (all of this meaning in the states/near by [Canada]) etc.
Also on Kozi's website, there is an address in where you can send hand written fanmail to Kozi. We were thinking, that the best hit on Kozi reading these letters or even glancing at them, would be through hand written mail. S~o if it is possible we request that you send a hand written letter to him as well as a "To Kozi". Also, if you can try and make the envelope as interesting as possible, that would be amazing.
As someone said in the Kozi thread in the International Music Subforum:

My friend came up with this idea:
ok, if you had a huge pile of white envelopes from fans, would you chose the one that stood out the most, or any?
everyone probably tries to make theirs stand out, but if you really decorate the envelope up, he may be drawn to it xD

If you are interested, this is the address in where you can send Kozi hand written fanmail:

If you are unable to send a hand written letter to him and still are interested in helping out, you can just send a "To Kozi".
What do you want us to put in the letters and "To Kozi"?:
Absolutely anything (well, with the exceptions of being rude or inappropriate). The entire idea is to make Kozi aware that he has U.S. fans that are interested in his work. The only thing that we request, is that you put you are from the United States/Canada somewhere in your letter. Also, remember that Kozi is indeed Japanese, and his first language IS NOT ENGLISH.
Here are some examples of "To Kozi" already sent:

I know that your career is based in Japan but you also have a good sized North American fanbase. I have talked to many people online who are fans of your work and are from Canada and The United States Of America. Many of us would like it if you made an international fanclub. As a fan, I want to support and follow your career and I know that many of your other North American fans feel the same way.

Hello. My name is Molly. I am a fan of yours from the United States. I live in the state Minnesota. I really enjoy your music. It is very creative and interesting and well thought out. I buy lots of your music, and enjoy it very much. I have lots of friends that listen to your music too. They like it as much as me and buy lots of your music as well. Thank you for making wonderful music. I am very grateful.
As you can see, both me and Shinobi used simple English, but both contained relatively different subjects. Mine was just a simple letter of praise, and Shinobi's telling of the U.S. and Canadian fanbase and how she would support projects of his in North America. See? Anything.
If you plan on helping out, and sending a letter and/or "To Kozi" please reply to this once you have sent the letter/"To Kozi". PLEASE TELL ME WHEN YOU HAVE SENT OUT THE LETTER. I personally, would like to keep track of how many people actually sent out a letter and/or a "To Kozi". Please, if you post in here saying you will send one out that's great. Just make sure when you actually send one out that you tell me so I can keep track. I WILL NOT COUNT YOURS UNTIL IT IS ACTUALLY SENT OUT. I have had problems in the past with projects slightly similar to this where people said they would do something, but never did.

Also, if you didn't catch the link to Kozi's website in my first paragraph, here it is again.
Kozi's Official Website
The "To Kozi" link is on the left side. I would also like to note we had some problems sending the "To Kozi" at first due to e-mail addresses. You do not need to include a URL in the "URL" box, but you do need to include an e-mail address. If you have included an e-mail address but you are still getting this message:
処理に失敗しました。
正しいメールアドレスを入力してください
Translation: "It failed in processing. Please input correct mail address"
Then the e-mail you have used will not work. Try putting a different e-mail in the "e-mail" box and it should work. If you still get the message, try another e-mail and keep trying different ones until you get this message:
以下の内容で送信されました
Translation: "It was transmitted with contents below"
WHEN YOU FIRST CLICK SEND the message will be shown again (if you don't get the "failed in processing" screen) and a small box will appear in the bottom left corner under your message. Click it. This will send the message, and the "It transmitted" screen will appear once again repeating your message, but without the box.
Thank you very much for considering our project.
