This is the place for those of you into the alternative Christian music. You know, everything from the rock and rap to the metal and punk. Anything, I suppose that you wouldn't hear on the average Christian radio station and certainly not what's sung along with on Sunday nights.
Anybody with a broadband connection, go on to www.xthealbum.com to hear some of the new songs out there by our favorite artists, Demon Hunter, Disciple, Hawk Nelson, TFK, Relient K, Kutless... you know, the alternative.
This will be a place where you can post alternative bands and promote them, tell about new albums, and things of the sort. The only thing I ask is that you don't clutter the thread with "OMG I heart Relient K so much! They rock my sox off!!!!!11" That gets rather old. And please don't stretch teh pages by posting entire song lyrics.

Band: Demon Hunter Type: Christian Rock and Heavy Metal Website: www.demonhuter.net
Heaviest of the heavy metal. Some screamo stuff. Basically, if your mom is only a fan of the mainstream, you're going to have to go and buy some of those isolatiopn headphones, because she'll hate. So maybe that's another perk about them, lol. Yeah, those new to heavy metal, step off for a little wile or be sure you have the lyrics with you if you want to understand it.

They've got some cool music. 8D
Maybe I'll check out Demon Hunter later. xD Their Thousand Apologies song sounds very osm. ^-^b

Band: Pillar Genre: Christian Rock and Metal Website: www.pillarmusic.com
If you want loud and heavy, but still understand the lyrics, this is a band for you. They're pretty hardcore and the main theme behind a lot of songs is "resist the things of the world; fight for what you believe in." They've come out with some good Christian "battle anthems." Definitely one of my favoreite bands of all time.

Band: 3Nailz Genre: Christian Rock Website: www.purevolume.com/3nailz and www.myspace.com/3nailz
These guys have some awesome lyrics and music... if you can find it. They aren't too big. It's a small band based out of South Carolina. I believe there are songs you can listen to on both sites. Really powerful stuff. It's the only thing I'm listening to right now, and it will really get you into Christian music if you're not already.

W00t!!! Anberlin!!! I went to a 4 day Christian music festival at the start of the year with something like another 24,000 people, and despite the fact my $95 shoe came off in the mosh pit... These guys were definately my fave band of the weekend! I must admit, I don't actually own their first album because I can't afford it at the mo... But their second album Never Take Friendship personal is great. ^.^; My fave song is Time and Confusion because of the lyrics. They are posted on my profile. =3

I'll fix that now. Yeah, if anybody ever has something to add to a band profile, just say so and it shall be done. I thnk there's a verse in teh Bible to that effect. Weird.
