When Brawl comes out there will be no best player in the world yet until the first official Tournaments have passed.
Then we can see who is the best and who isn't (of those who have entered the tournaments ofcourse) so this means that Ken won't be hte best player of America.
Though maybe he will become the best again, though who knows, maybe with Brawl that there will be a whole new generation of Top Smashers.

Well, if the game system is simular to SSBM then Ken will probebly be top again. But the game could have some changes (For example, If they get rid of SSBM's glitches then you can say goodbye to the wavedash)

I just recently learned how to wavedash and infinite with fox, they better not take them out. However if you watch the trailer carefully (near the part with snake) you will notice that mario does a very small wavedash.

Btw, the only change that will really screw up the pros would be the powering/nerfing of top tiers and new characters(which will probably happen, the first thing I mean, we already know there will be new characters >_>)

Yoko Hino who is ken? sweatdrop And where do we go to enter tornaments? SephirothKen WAS America's number 1 SSBM player, now its Isai as far as I know. (And don't worry about not knowing, I never knew it untill about half a year ago) and you can look up the tournaments on www.smashboards.com
