Hania bounds toward the lake he promised to meet Pepper at, his breath coming out in strange pants as he is currently running quite late and is also clutching a small bouquet of flowers in his mouth. He skids to a stop at the water, looking around for the dark furred female, sitting down as he tries to catch is breath, setting the flowers down in front of him

Pepper had been pacing back and forth nervously for quite sometime. Today was her first offical date with Hania. It made her quite nervous considering this would be her first boyfriend as well if things went well. For quite sometime she stood staring over the waters edge at her own reflection. It was quite a lonely one being there by herself. But her ears quirked and suddenly her mind was swept away as Hania came into view. She really liked him. Not only was he dashingly handsome, but he seamed like the good fatherly type the way he took care of Reign. She blushed slighty then stepped out of hiding towards him. "Hi there!" She squeaked out.

Hania freezes when he hears Reigns voice and he blushes when he turns and sees her approaching. "H-hi Pepper!!" he says nervously in greeting, never having been around any pretty females before, and you couldn't count Reign because she was still a pup and acted very tomboyish. He picks up the flowers and trots up to her, his face red instead of orange and he sets the blue bouquet of daisies before her, coughing lightly, "These are for you....they reminded me of your eyes and how pretty they are..." he scratchs the back of his head nervously with a paw

Pepper picked them up and smelled them her eyes reflecting the petels. "They are very beautiful. You must have spent hours gathering these!" She sounded shocked that anyone would actully do something so nice for her. "I feel bad though- I have nothing for you..." She moved one of her paws back and forth on the ground nervously, still blushing.

Hania shook his head, his ears flopping around as he smiles, "Just you being here is a gift enough for me!! I didn't think any female would like to be around me cause I am so....bright..." He gestures to his bright orange fur, having always been secretly insecure how he stands out. "And I didn't mind picking them, it was worth it!"
I have to go now, but I should be back in a few hours, so post and I will reply when I get back!

Pepper nodded, "I didn't think any males would notice me though- my pelt isn't really the brightest." She paused for alittle bit. "Plus-" She began to stammer abit. "-I can't fly." Her head lowered in shame. "I hope you don't mind...some do." Blinking she smiled at the flowers. "Thanks again, they really are beautiful."

Hania looks a little surprised by what she says, "That doesn't make any sense why anyone wouldn't notice you!! You're very pretty and sweet!!!" He lowers his head closer to hers, smiling a kind smile, "And I don't care if you can't fly. Flying doesn't you any less of a Talaye...at least, not to me..." he straightens up, rubbing at his nose to get rid of his blush

The black and white talaye blushed even more. Hania still liked her even though she couldn't fly. That was a first for her. "Aww your sweet." Moving forwards she accidentally bumped her own nose into Hania's almost as if she was giving him an eskimo kiss. Jumping back as soon as it happened she giggled imbaressed. "Eh heh sorry about that- I'm a klutz..." Now there wasn't a trace of white fur left on her because it was now pinkish red.

Hania now looks like a fire engine instead of his bright orange and he chuckles and rubs the back of his head nervously, "I-i-it's ok!!! I liked it!!" he gulps as he looks away, now convinced he was totally an idiot, but then he perks up and looks to her. "Who has told you that you are only good enough if you can fly?!" he looks a little angry and looks around, as if looking for said offender "I'll show him, you're too good for the likes of him!" Hania now is on a little rampage, ready to take on anyone that talks bad about Pepper

Glad that she didn't do anything particularly stupid before she still couldn't help herself from turning twenty more shades of red. "I liked it too-" She whispered softly to him still unable to control her own color change.
"Well to tell you the truth...I'm the one that told myself that. I'm scared to tell anyone for that reason though." She nodded slowly to herself. "It's not easy growing up not being like the other talaye."

Hania turns back to Pepper with a somewhat confused look on his face and he pads up to her, "But why would you say that? I don't fly that much myself, I mainly prefer my own four legs. But you should't put yourself down, your as good, if not better then any Talaye! I mean, you have to be the prettiest one I know!" his blush, which was starting to fade, comes back full force again and he shuts his mouth, thinking he said too much

Pepper was speachless. "I guess your right. I shouldn't tell myself things like that-" Stopping in mind sentence did it only then register in her own mind that he had complemented her once more on her looks. It was then that her maw had curled up into a rather contented smile even without her knowing. "And you have to be the handsomest- plus you have a nice heart." Her paws which had been gradully fidgeting more and more were now drawing tiny hearts in the ground below her.

Hania feels like he will explode from his blushing fit as he draws tiny patterns in the dirt with his paw, "I don't see how, I mean....I'm really, really bright!! I mean, you could probably spot me a few miles away! I mean....I've never really liked my color...I just....haven't said anything to anyone about it...." he looks away, feeling ashamed with himself as he lowers his head

The black and white talaye was silent for a few seconds then spoke up again. "Honstly I'd love to have a pelt like yours- and to tell you the truth I'm sure any talaye in the meadow would be jelous to have your looks as well." Her face seamed to scrunch up so that her face was now a full blooming smile. "Standing out isn't such a bad thing-" She blinked thinking about her own wings and the fact she's been hidding from everyone in the meadow because of it. "No it's really not." She then continued to draw bigger hearts.

Hania looks up at her shyly, a happy smile on his muzzle as he gazes at her, "Really? You really think my color isn't that bad?" he then shyly moves forward and nuzzles his nose on the side of her maw. He backs off as he blushes, brushing at the black hair along his shoulders as he backs up "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be so forward!"
