I hope this is correct. I haven't played in a while.
You have to do the "Dear Friend" quest. It's a D Rank quest and it's quite long.
Here's the skinny.
After accepting it, you need to buy some "Salt". Salt is located in a few places, such as the Bargain Bin at Nest of Pirates, or you can just buy it normally from Chiepoo. See my shop inventories if you still can't find it. After you have the Salt, go to the Gossip menu in Middleport. In here, talk to the "Woman" and she will ask for Salt. She will give you some Soap in return. After obtaining the Soap, head to The Kingdom of Obel, and go into the Gossip Menu. Talk to the Old Woman here, and give her the Soap you obtained, and you will recieve a "Pearl Shell". Now, sail back to Razril, and talk to the Young Boy in the Gossip Menu. Give him the Pearl Shell, and he gives you a Crystal Ball.
You can not finish the rest of this quest until you are on Chapter 15 or beyond. Head to Terana Plains with the Crystal Ball in your possession. A short bit of text shows up on the World Map, and the Thief mentions the Rose Crest. You will be forced into another battle at Terana Plains.
To win this battle, you need to obtain the Rose Crest and defeat all enemy units. You have an ally, named Charlemange in your party for this fight.
Most of the enemies are level 19 and 20 Bandits. Also note that every single one of them are Fire Innate, so Water Innate characters will be your best bet against them. You have fought these foes quite a few times before. As always, the Bandit - Spear's are the most dangerous, so you need to take them down first. The Bandit - Bows will stay away and snipe at ytou, being far more of annoyance then anything else, so it is really your choice of whether to take them down or the Bandit - Sword's first.
Keeping Charlemange alive may be a bit difficult. He just runs right into the enemy forces, which will ruin any attempt your party might make at a stealthy battle. Because this pretty much draws all forces at your party, you should just go right on ahead and attack, while Charlemange is distracting the foes. He will be hard to keep alive anyway. so why not use him to your advantage?
There are three, hard to see Furballs to the east of your battle party. These enemies will not attack you until you approach them too faar on their turf, so stick away from them until after all of the Bandits have been desroyed.
The Bandits like to stay on their chosen Terrain. Because of this, they will stick together right where they are, all piled up on top of each other. This goes to their advantage, mainly because it stops you from being able to use Attack Advantage well on certain foes. This also allows you to use area spells and Co-Ops effectively, though.
After you have defeated all of the enemies, open that chest the enemies were guarding and you recieve the Rose Crest. You are now free to go back to Middleport and talk to Reinbach at the Middleport Inn.

They should have had bath scenes in Rhapsodia... I would do anything to see one with Simeon, Roget, Jeane and Maxine.
