Cheetah.

She couldn't have been given anything easier to work worth than a cheetah. Everyone knew what they were good at. Lilly was reckless, but she wasn't stupid. Part of the reason she'd got this job was her vast knowledge on the animal kingdom.

But, no way in hell that cat was coming into her garden. She'd surely mess up her lovely babies, and then Lilly would have to hurt her. Then she'd get fired, and what a mess!

A race track. What better?

The instructor stood near the starting line, making sure the stop-watch worked as she waited (impatiently) for her new pupil to arrive. Ah, children.

She really, really hated them.

"Remember to behave, and only speak when spoken to." Leaning against the wall of one of many areas of the D-Corp building. Arms crossed, Mew was not stressing upon her words, nor demanding them, but simply implying them for the better of her daughter. "Aja will be by later to pick you up, hopefully to see you home in at least a few pieces."

Standing in front of the oddly dressed woman, nodding at her words, the cheetah felt slightly on edge. But, it was the beginning of a new type of class, and she was dealing with a new teacher, so she wasn't sure what to expect. That was what made her feel slightly uncomfortable, but nothing she knew she couldn't swallow, "Mmkay Ma." Sahra said, hand falling down to her partner's head as he nudged up against her side.

"You better get going, as should I, neither of us can really afford to be late." Pressing her palms up against the wall, she shoved herself forward, standing upright, and shoving her hands down into her pockets. "Now get." Mew reached one hand out and softly pushed the girl towards her destined direction. After her gesture, the feline quickly made haste back in the direction they had originally come from, knowing that something rather unpleasant lie in her own future.

Okay, so now she was on her own, good. Heading off towards her destination, the cheetah would see a track of sorts come into view, a little quicker than she had originally figured. So she would have to deal with yet another new teacher, well, she guessed as long as she could keep Re from over reacting, that she would be fine.

Slithering at her side, with his grey eyes Ephrem shot a suspicious look at his partner, somehow sensing that she was shaping him up. It wasn't new or anything and it didn't really bother him, at least not coming from her.

Feeling a change of ground texture below her partially bare feet, Sahra looked over the track, taking a few initial moments to spot the only person anywhere around the seemingly deserted area. Well, that only meant one thing, that this being must be who she was looking for. She was happy now that she decided not to wear shoes, and instead leather wraps around her lower legs and the body of her foot. Leaving her nails for much needed traction while running, which it appeared, that she'd definitely need.

"Hi..." Approaching what appeared to be a woman, Sahra halted some feet from the being, crossing her arms behind her back, as to keep herself from fidgeting with the edge of her jean short or black sleeveless shirt. She observed the woman, noting her impatient and almost hateful tinted features.

Coiling his serpentine tail loosing around the legs of the feline, Ephrem shot a simple and rather short glare towards this supposed "instructor," but was quick to turn his utmost attention back to his partner. "Ah, hope you haven't been waiting to long." The cheetah planted one hand firmly back on the dragons head, as to be sure he was kept in check, as well as to help herself.

"Not quite long enough for me to kill you," was Lilly's answer. Her single eye moved away from them and too the track, as if silently calculating something in her mind.

So quickly one couldn't even catch it's movement, her gaze had settled on the dragon beside her new 'student'. Who'd come up with that word, anyway?

"Aye, alright. M'names Lilly Ghardian. I lost me eye in a war, I will use this whip, if a white shoulder dragon shows up his name is Muffin and I'll tell ya now he dun like ya too much. Dun like any of ya. No questions, got it? Good."

With her free hand, she motioned toward the track. "Ya run all the way around this."

Slightly put off by the comment, she hadn't expected something so bold, but simply shrugged it off, quickly calculating something to herself, as well. This woman wasn't going to be easy to get along with, and she probably wouldn't ever, which was fine. All Sahra wanted from her was to learn about what she came her for, if she gave her that, even if it meant the cheetah getting bent out of shape, she'd surely be bale to walk away satisfied. "Mm." She mewed bluntly under her breath, eyes falling upon the rubbery cement of the track.

What was she to do, stand her and stare at the odd looking woman? Or go off and run, like it seemed was meant to happen? The feline simply nodded, wondering if the lady, her instructor, already knew her name or not. Oh well, if she did she did, and if she didn't, that was her problem. Shoving Ephrem off to the side softly, she shot him a sharp glare that told him in turn to stay put, and be no trouble, or else. He quickly responded, backing off, and coiling up a yard to two further back away from the two human...like creatures.

"Okay." Nodding again, she padded her way out into the middle of the track obediently, taking a few moments to shake the kinks out of her arms and legs, having not run most of the day. This was going to be mostly simple, right? All she had to do was run around this thing as fast as she could manage without falling, and try to stop decently. That would be a challenge.

Crouching downward, she cocked her head towards the woman, seeing the stopwatch, she assumed that she should wait before she ran, so, she waited for a command.

She was waiting for a command, Lilly realized, and was both annoyed and pleased by that. Pleased because at least she'd listen, and annoyed because, like most kids, she didn't seem to be able to just do a damn thing on her own. Oh well.

"Go on," the instructor commanded, clicking a button on the stopwatch and watching the girl expectantly.

Observing the rather mix expressions on the woman's face, Sahra couldn't help but think this woman had something wrong with her. She must just be indecisive, hm, maybe? Eyes quickly snapping down to the woman's fingers as they moved, as soon as she heard the clicking of the button with one bent ear, she was off! Racing around the track as fast as she could manage, which wasn't what a full grown cheetah could run, but she was improving as she practiced and got older, that's what mattered...right?

She was sure that she was going to break her speed record! But then again she had no real way of telling, oh well. As long as she got around the track in one piece she thought she'd call it good.

Watching his partner go around the track, Ephrem eyed the strange woman, watching her actions like a hungry hawk. He didn't feel comfortable around her, and didn't like Sahra being around her, either.

Okay this was it, she had to stop! The wretched stop would probably be the end of her. "Ack..." As soon as she hit the point were Lilly was standing, she simply stopped moving her legs. Skidding across the track, the feline nearly lost her balance! "Phew." But she wasn't out of the yard yet, because here came a fence! And out of nowhere. BANG. She was on the ground.

"RUR!?" She had done it again, and at such an inconvenient time. Ephrem had a strong urge to run to his companion’s side, but, had been strictly instructed not to. So, he stay put, head flailing, trying to see the girl better without actually moving the rest of his body from that very spot.

Not that she was about to show it or anything, but Lilly was impressed. Mind you, not with the student. So what if she was running at a decent speed? She was a cheetah.

Seeing the speed a cheetah was capable of, even a humanoid one, was what she found impressive. This girl would have to be faster than an average cheetah to mean anything in her book.

And suddenly, WHAM!

The teacher paused. Did that girl...just run into a fence?

With a heavy sigh and a shake of her head, Lilly stopped the clock and strolled over to Sahra. Rather effortlessly, she grabbed one fuzzy hand and dragged her up by it.

"Aye, that was... Interesting. Yer gonna need to learn not to be runnin' into things."

"Um, ehhh, sorry!" She squeaked, scrambling to support her own weight as the rather strange woman pulled her upward by the hand. "I've been having a lot of issues, um, stopping, and keeping my balance, especially on turns lately, since I've started achieving and practicing higher speeds..." Sahra couldn't help but feel embarrassed, but tried her best not to show it to much, since it was such an insignificant emotion. Besides, teachers were there to help, right? Hopefully. There was always an exception, though.

Bouncing about, Ephrem was swaying his muscular body crazily, stretching his long body up high as a snake might. She seemed okay; the cheetah girl was up on her feet, and speaking to the evil pink haired lady, so, it couldn't have been all crash and tumble. "Phew." Re sighed, relieved, but still on edge, he didn't like not being able to run at his partners side, it was so abnormal and unnatural feeling to him.

"S'not that suprising," Lilly said, using various hand gestures as she spoke. "Not that I be runnin' near that quick, but if it's like everything else, ya gotta focus on all parts of it and not just bolt. First off, ya gotta quit stopping so suddenly like that. No wonder ya went flyin! Slow down before ya stop, jeesh!"

"Okay." So she needed to stop slower? How was she supposed to do that? She remembered Yin blabbing about something in the car one day about when you're at higher speeds you need so much more room to stop safely, but what did such things as that have to do with running? "I think so, anyways...so do I just need to gradually slow down then? Although it seems usless to me I'll give it a try. Is there anything else I should change?" Sahra couldn't help but feel so strange asking someone those sorts of questions; she was supposed to be able to run on her own, was that really something that need to be taught? The feline had never thought so, but maybe it was.
