WDP's 2007 Angel (Code Named: ONE) I was talking with a few friends out on the field Saturday, the reason all the current Angels are so cheap (G7 Fly for $899) is because for the First time ever WDP is Totally changing their Angel markers.......... From what they've heard, the Angel will be the lightest marker in the world, the Body will be smaller than a dollar bill, and will not be using their standard double are sided tube design....... Started saving your money boys......Oops, and Girls! wink Official Angel 1 Pictures and Stats

Sounds cool, I read up on it some before.. I wonder if this new design have any drawbacks to proformance or looks. Hopefully the marker isn't too small though, there can be bad in too much of a good thing.
But I kinda wonder will this actually raise the bar for WDP itself. The G7 was really astounding with its whole line of cool features, but lately all new guns have been generally the same, even know several companys such as Bob Long and his Intimidator do this to satisfy personal taste.

"Im not really a fan of Angels there ok, but i think they are over exagerated, and is the common n00b name for a good gun, but regardless im sticking to my Ion, with my new virtue board i will be getting into the near 30 bps so i dont need an angel."

I think it's going to look like a G7 Fly mixed with a DM6 or PM6. I did read this one guys post, he say the Angel's standard barrel will come with multiple backs and is going to be lighter than a Dye Ultralight barrel....

Here is the supposed to be image of the new Angel marker. The pic kinda leaves more to the imagination. This first pic is from a guy who is tied in with WDP  Here is another that I think looks like it. Yet again not really allowing you to see it clearly,it kinda looks like Speed possibly or the new marker, who know!?!? WDP is doing a good job of messing with us.

Here's the new Angels specs....He has has seen it, he was at Tampa!
"EDIT: YES, YES, YES, it is the "length" of a dollar bill! The body is definitely shorter in height than a dollar. +/- the feedneck.
The front stops at the reg.
The barrel is slightly set back.
It's a modified 3 tube design. Still the same pattern but smaller.
The LPR is in the very back.
The the ram has a LIGHTER mass. It moves amazingly freely. No resistance at all.
Four color screen on the top and side of the grip. Small but easy to read menu system.
Bluberry style, 3 button system on the back of the grip.
They employ a patented self cleaning eye system that really works! The bolt is designed to blow the eyes clean with every shot.
The system can be configured for SUPER SOFT ball kiss. Softer than ANY marker out there.
The grip frame is the exact right size. It's super comfortable and more than large enough.
The air configuration is VERY efficient! There's even a 3 shot air buffer to help when you take advantage of the amazing speed it brings to bear. (Just in case the reg on your tank can't keep up)
The Barrel IS lighter than a UL. It comes with 3 different matching backs and a front.
The ASA is integrated into the grip.The profile very lean. The hose exits via ther front of the asa to put less out the side to get shot! Just twist the front and you can open or close the airflow.
It has an automatic degass when opening the ASA.
EDIT: It's a 9v setup.
Lockning feedneck (NOT like the 05 speed)
They redesigned the placement of the eye wiring as well.
The porting on the valve is HUGE and beautifully polished. It's impressive.
Because of the LPR placement the airflow is greatly simplified and improved.
It's perfectly balanced, like a fine sword!"
I can't wait, sounds sweet......I Just hope it dosn't cost over $1000. sweatdrop

Sounds awesome too bad I don't have the cash to buy one. I was thinking about returning to shooting an Angel once I can get some cash, I was thinking of getting "The Gat" Angel. It has all the goodies I need stock.
But yeah it sounds like it will cost more then a grand brand new.

It has all the goodies I need stock. But yeah it sounds like it will cost more then a grand brand new. Why get a $1100 Gat, when you can get the G7 Fly for $900? Plus the G7 Fly is the top of the line of the Angel markers....

Yeah i know what you mean, i got to get my hands on one to see how it feels.....I hoping WDP will have some at the PSP Chicago Open next weekend, then i'll know if i'm going to get one.

DAMN! This thing is certainly compeating with me for an 06 timmy... but this kinda makes ya wonder.. whats eclipse going to do now? they domanated the 05 market, and it looks like it may be angels turn this year.
