Welcome!
First of all, this is a great first date for quieter people... but you CAN party in the summer cottage by the Garden Pond wink
The Terrace Lake Garden is a nature tour garden revolving around five main sites and one circular waterway. It is roughly in the shape of a pentagon, with the entrance at the south side and a waterfall at the north corner. There is a lightly curving stone bridge from the entrance to the central core where there is a center to rent boats, fishing rods, buy bait and such. Picnic supplies are also available in the central core. There is also a caf頴here, where one may sit outside or inside. The bridge is a one foot thick, shallow, fortified arc paved with flat stones ranging from sepia to loam brown with bronzes in between. The railings are made thin, upright silver rods at every two feet or so, connected by strong chains of steel link. A bed of flowers stretch out on either side of the bridge walkway. There is an archway over the bridge that sits in the water as it nears the central core. It is made of red sandstone, with ivy and morning glories climbing all over it.
The Central Core The central core is mainly just a raised platform of stone on an island. The side of the island towards the bridge is mainly stone but for the most part, it is just wilderness on the other sides. The actual central core is only a small semicircle with its arc tangent to the bridge. It is paved with flat stone slabs yellower than the bridgeway stones. The same railings go around the arc of the core. There are tunnels under the core where the waterway runs through. Those are lit by lanterns set in niches dug out of the stone walls. The bridgework tunnel is an arc that goes in one side of the core and comes out the other side.
Situated on the Central Core: ~Labyrinth Garden: Lots of thick bushes, flowers, statues, fountains, pools, trapdoors, little underground castles, hidden pathways? two words?get lost!
~Lotus Pool: Gigantic round pool in raised white marble edges with giant lily pads and lotus flowers. There?s a walkway like the bridge (except it?s all white) to a pentagonal pavilion in the center that is often used for wedding ceremonies.
~Caf麠A lovely Caf頯n a stone pier where customers are directly on top of the lake. There are tables outside and the interior is a lovely gold and green design one would see in an expensive Victorian diner.
~Recreation Service: Here you- get boat rent passes, rent/buy fishing rods, buy bait, rent picnic cloths, get free pamphlet guides of flora and fauna, rent binoculars, etc.
~Gift Shop: Loads of junk you can probably find in a zoo gift shop.
~Boat dock: You can choose from these different types of boats: ???.Canopied?a long, roomy boat with lots of space and a sun canopy. There is a table for food, drink, and anything else. Comes with a free fan with every trip. This boat is made with advanced navigation tech that enables the boat to go along with the flow of the river and stop once it has reached a full circle. Very Victorian styled. ???.Canoe?a simple row boat that isn?t quite so steady. It doesn?t drive itself so easily as the canopied tour boat. ???.Flat?a raft like boat designed for fishers and on-water picnicking parties. It is very stable and even has a two foot high side. Boarders can stand without fear of falling. ???.Yacht?have fun getting wet. ???.Round?like a giant innertube! It follows the course of the river and goes around and around! ???.Submarine?for exploring the fishies? blub! Boat rents are completely free.
Site 1: Cattail Marshes Like the name suggests, the river fades into a very green area where there are plenty of sandbars to get stuck in. There are reeds growing everywhere and the riverbed is heavy mud. Many beavers live around here, and so do herons, ducks, frogs and other animals. Submarines can?t submerge here. Tall forests grow beyond the banks and either side. For people that would rather just go back to the central core, there is a stone tunnel on the left bank that leads back to the main bridgework tunnel.
Site 2: Garden Pond A lot like the Lotus Pool, except there?s no marble and it?s not artificial at all? well, nothing in the water. Rose bushes are planted on the banks against a white fence. There isn?t a white fence on the right bank though. Beyond the fence and a gate is a large summer cottage. This is a small hotel for people who want to get away. Like the Marsh, there?s a tunnel to get back to the main bridgework tunnel. Submarines can?t submerge fully here. And there is only a space in the center for them to partially submerge.
Site 3: Cliff Canyons Yay for subs, there?s plenty of space to submerge here. There?s a lot of underwater life here and a giant crevice in the riverbottom. This is possibly the widest point and deepest point, about a kilometer wide or so. Above ground, there are massive cliffs of sedimentary stone. This is actually artificially carved, but it?s mostly natural for the top 50 feet. There are fossils bedded into the cliffs if anyone cares to anchor and check it out on the sandy banks. There?s a tunnel back.
Site 4: Jungle Nets A place filled with exotic plants and animals. There?s a special range heater here to keep it hot and humid all the time. It?s a subtropical environment. Try and spot toucans and watch out for snakes. They?re domesticated and trained to not eat people, but you might not want to provoke them. Say hi to the monkeys, they?re friendly. There is a tunnel back to the central core from here, it?s the most frequently used tunnel too. There?s a dock by the waterfall near the entrance, park in the cavern overhangs and check out the water. There are lots of parrots though, so watch out. They?re territorial and pesky.
Site 5: Hiker Terraces This is the most frequently used area, where the dock size is second to only the Core dock. People come off here to hike, bird watch, fence, have picnics, barbeque, hold meetings and congregations, celebrate, sleep and just plain run amuck like madmen. There?s a great hike trail through the wooded area that goes up to the pinnacle of a tall hill that can lead all the way back to the canyons through tunnels and caverns. The tunnel leads through the caves behind the waterfall too, but it?s sort of a one way cave. No one?s found the entrance from any other place so far. People say they?ve been witched so they don?t show up in other places. There are several pavilions with barbeques and picnic tables.

Deserai walked into the garden, observing the quiet background. She stoped and did a full 180 and saw no-one was here. She was all alone. The hair on the back of her neck raised and she quickened her pace. She felt as if someone was watching her from afar. She walked to the pond and felt her fears ease. She skimmed the edge of the ponds water with her finger tips and she looked up once more, a piece of hair in her eye as always. She tryed to tuck it back, but it fell across her face again. "I really need to get that piece cut off!" she said aloud as she stared at the long piece of lavendar hair. She heard her voice echo errily(sp?) and she closed her eyes to ignore the growing feeling of someone elses presence. She would have given everything to find someone to talk to, but as she glaced over her shoulder once again, she saw no-one. Deserai heard a low voice and she turned around quickly. "Come out, come out, wherever you are." She heard someone whisper. She could see no-one. The voice grew louder. "Come out, come out wherever you are." She heard the voice once more, the loudest of all. "Come out come out wherever you are!!!!" Deserai screamed. She felt something brush her shoulder. She yelled out, "Who are you and where are you hiding!" She desperatly wanted someone to be there with her.

- As skrymer walked into the Gardens he noticed a note was left of on the floor, Hesitant At first he decided to take a peek at this Mysterious note that was covered with dew , the note read "Hey Zilma i forgot to tell you there was a rather beautiful pendent i decided to hide for you , Well since yah helped me find my dorm room and all.." the rest of the note was in to bad of a condition to even make out what else was written, So skrymer then placed the note in his pocket , Deciding to perhaps search for this Pendent the note spoke of...Notably the sun was rising as the mist and morning dew settled, skrymer slowly walked down the path thinking aloud to himself about this note, He then walked more into the distance..Eventually leaving the gardens in hopes of starting his journey that night for the pendent..-

Deserai heard someone yelling. Desperate to find someone, she followed the voice. Happily she saw a guy trying to get a room. "But wait, can you even get rooms here?" She thought outloud. The guy was furious, and she could see why. A sigh above the window said '500 g a night'. "I don't even have 500 g!" She giggled. She decided to walk back out. She tucked her hair behind her ear and tried to wipe the look of pure terror off her face. She walked out behind the bush and she smiled. "Hi! I'm Deserai."

"Yeah, they are pretty outragous.(sp?)" She paused for a secound, looking at Joshua. "What do you do for a job? I'm trying to find one, since I'm low on funds." She tucked her hair behind her ear nervously. She hated when she did that. She made a mental note to quit it, then noticed Joshua was being quiet for quite some time. "Anything wrong?" She asked, her grey eyes alight.

Ryuu walked into the gardens with Roxy still blushing. When he looked at it he was amazed. He said, "Oh my god! This place is amazing!" He also at the next second relized that this was techincally maybe a date. He started blush again and he put his head down again. He said, "So whats up?" He smiled as he sat down on a seat and patted the other side for her to sit in. He was still a little red when he said that.

Roxy gasped at the beautiful scenery. "Wow...." She whistled and smiled brightly. "This place is gorgeous!" She tightened her grip on Ryuu's hand and sat down with him. "Now don't go trying to get rid of me. You hear?" She glanced one way, then the other way. "Hmm....where do you wanna go first?" She asked without looking at him. 'We could go to the Labrynth Garden....or maybe even the Lotus Pool...' She sighed and then turned and smiled at him, still holding on to his hand. "So, where do you wanna go?"

He blushed as he saw her still holding his hand and tighting her grip on him. He smiled and tighted his grip on her hand gently then said, "You can choose!" He wondered what he should do with her. He is still trying to figure out her feelings for him. He was pretty sure that she wasn't that interested in him. Then he wondered if she did like him. His head was all bunched up as he held her hand.

Roxy whined and shook her head. "But...but...I don't WANNA!!!" She pouted, a smile playing on her lips showing that she was just joking. "Ok....umm....we could go to the Larbynth Garden. You wanna do that?" Before waiting for his reply she had pulled him up on his feet and was already walking in the direction the sign had been pointing too. She turned around and childishly stuck her tongue out before running ahead laughing. "Yuu-kun can't catch me!!" She taunted as she ran around bushes and jumping over benches, and then eventually into the maze that was the entrance to the labrynth.

Ryuu smiled then ran after her. He got to the labyrnth and said, "Woah.. This is big!" He smiled as he walked forward. He looked and said, "You want to go together?" He held her hand and took her in with him. He was blushing a little bit again. They reached a fork and so he said, "Left or right Roxy?" He held her hand a little tighter meaning that he didn't want to go without her.

"I think we should spl-" The squeeze on her hand told her he didn't want to split. "Oh..." She blushed and picked a random direction, which happened to be right. "That way." She took the lead and froze when she heard whispering. "Huh?" She whirled around looking for the source of the sound, but no one else seemed to be there. "Did you hear the Ryuu?" She looked around again before continuing on ward. A couple of minutes later she heard it again. "What the heck?" She looked over her shoulder, no one was there. "Okay....this is creepy." She scooted in to Ryuu a little bit so she would feel at least slightly secure. "Ryuu..." She whispered. "What is that?" She glanced around with a worried look on her face. Whispering voices with no bodies really freaked her out. She jumped when one seemed to come right by her ear.
"Wrong way sweetie..."
Roxy screamed and jumped onto Ryuu, hugging him and burying her face in his chests. "Ghosts...."
She had, of course, failed to see the sign that read, "The Murmuring Maze..."

He hugged her tight as he heard a few voices too. He heard, "Go back..." And "Wrong way..." He actually found out that they were trying to help him. He took her the other way and set her on the ground. He asked, "Are you ok?" He saw her starting to freak out a little more then he just waited until she was done. He was thinking why he forgot to read the sign. He thought of how Roxy reacted and blushed a little again.
