i read the goku vs superman thread and someone mentioned that superman was only had problems with phykic attacks and couldnt be hurt by anything that causes physical trauma. so would this mean that professor x would stand a chance?

I think they were talking about Superman Prime there, normal Post - Crisis (and even Pre - Crisis) Superman can be hurt by physical assaults of sufficient power.

Xavier. If even Poison Ivy could control him to a certain extent, and Maxwell Lord was able to completely dominate his mind. I think Xavier has all he needs to win.
