The soft sweet calling of a feathered creature danced its way through the thick air. A deep breath gave the senses a tickle of moisture and the sing of early air. Dew left beads of water on his feet as he walked, a faint orange glow poking over the land setting the foliage afire.Well isn't this just nice. Crush that flower over there.Xan. Didn't he ever leave him alone? Apparently not, for the voice had been with him through the ages, like a Seer constantly infilitrating the mind.

Kiros made his way over to a spot of yellow that stabbed outward from its green cousins. He set it nose to it and took in its arouma, enjoying every minute of it.
Just take it in between your teeth and squash it like a bug! Let its bitter fluid scar your teeth like a knife. Kill it, take its life. Bite it! Eat it!Kiros ignored it and kept on walking. Nothing could be done for it, Xan never listened.

Just enjoy the sunrise,he thought in a whisper to Xan. He recieved a scoff in return. Violent boy that Xan was. A light chuckle escaped his throat, a bit amused by the companions actions.

Kiros heard the call, it wasn't so far from here. Perhaps he should go investigate. It sounded sorrowful, like death and pain. Ohh? What is this? A wolf to prey on? Shall we? Kiros changed his direction towards the other wolf's cry. He certainly wasn't going to be doing any throat ripping anytime soon, despite Xan's pleading. Bloodlust was not for him.

The grass brushed up against his legs, it was tall this time of year, shortened by the shadows of thick trees. He left the comfort of his open space to make his way through the trees. It was the faster way there, and it was a comforting way to go.

Letting himself break into a trot the scent of the speaker soon reached the Lone's nose.
Female? Perhaps we can have some fun afterall. . . The chuckle of his counterpart sent shivers down his spine. One day, he was sure, this Xan might be the one controlling him, and blood would be spilled, pain delivered.

Kiros stopped, his ears perked forward, tongue lolling out of his mouth. It was a foreign tongue to him, he did not recognize it. German! Well isn't that just special!? German? Can you understand her? Little bits and pieces. Kiros listened intenly as Xan translated. Perhaps the voice was good for something. It was a simple question, one to be expected of another wolf.

Letting out a sigh, Kiros stepped forward, his tail low, but his head fairly high to see just what this wolf looked like.
Hot stuff! Can I get in on the action? Kiros ignored him, as usual.

"I am called Kiros." She can't understand you, fool. Let me take over. I promise I'll be good. The cackle that followed was of no comfort to Kiros.

Kiros strained to make use of the thick slurred accent of the German. Xan was laughing histerically at him, making it near impossible to think. He shook his head, Xan merely laughed harder. Apparently Kiros' struggled were extremely amusing to the male. It was strange, getting such a happy reaction from a wolf, but even stranger that it suddenly turned sour.

I think she knows your little secret and she is scared, terrified. Watch yourself, or she'll be latched on your neck. You just can't handle other wolves can you, my little pet? Kiros swallowed, the thick wash of pain hard to pull down into his stomach and away from harm. Perhaps he should let Xan...just for a moment? He bit his tongue inside his mouth, not a good idea.

Kiros bit so hard his fang sunk into the soft tissue, the sweet taste of blood fresh on his mind. Xan seemed enthralled with such a thing and went hooting about Kiros' mind like a madman. He wasn't helping.

"Is something wrong?" Kiros managed to stammer out, still trying to calm Xan down in his mind.

Kiros was growing twitchy with all this silence. He wasn't used to it and he didn't like it. Curse? What was she talking about. Me, you knitwit! You stupid idiot, she's talking about me. That's right, don't fight it, let me in, let me through. Come on, boy. It can't be that bad, can it? Kiros blinked once or twice, but otherwise gave no inkling he had heard Xan.

But still, how could he not fight it? If he didn't fight, wouldn't he lose control, if he did fight he would be in pain. Was it not better to fight and keep the pain away from others? He was not Xan, he was sure, and he was not going to submit to it.

"I'm not sure I understand what you mean."

Kiros was an observant wolf, he saw the eyes darken and felt the cold gaze, if only for an instant. The femme seemed to be struggling with her words, this intrigued him, and even more greatly intrigued Xan.

Kiros paused for a moment, unsure of what to do. He glanced around, searching for something to guide him.
Follow him you dumass. Shocked by Xan's harsh words Kiros broke into a trot and quickly went after the female.

Her voice churned in his head, making him confused, but Xan was there translating the thick accent and in the slur of it all making rude comments about his stupid counterpart. Demon? A demon? Xan wasn't a demon, just a bit misguided, that was all. He was harsh, but brilliant. Right?

I like this b***h! She speaks of getting a mate. I'll settle for that, but don't think for a second you can control me, silly little boy.

Kiros slowed to a walk and plodded up beside Eisig, his good half was musing over what to do and whether or not to take such advice, while Xan rambled on about other things.

"How are you like the water?"

Kiros put his face down to the water, looking for a purpose, a reflection on life. It sparkled in his wake, one golden eye staring back at him. This golden eye was Xan, and he was always there, always. Despite his violent nature, Kiros loved Xan, he was always there to talk to and he made sense of things. Perhaps this was what Eisig was missing, he didn't enjoy Xan's rantings, but he didn't mind it. Afterall, Xan had been there all his life, why force the creature away?

He didn't compare himself to water, for there was no need. He wasn't killing Xan, only ignoring him. What was the pain in that.

"Xan lets me live, he just likes to make extrenuous comments. Who am I to tell him no? We share this body of mine, I have been given the gift of control. Perhaps Xan is angry at me for it.

Kiros listened, but only half-heartedly. He could care less what this blue femme said. His heart cared, but his mind wandered to other plains and demensions, places Xan cold not reach. He did not understand what she meant by accepting. What was there to accept? He sighed and nudged his muzzle closer to the inviting water.

He was about to lap up the rivers contents when she startled him with her voice. Her name of Eisig, eh? Interesting name indeed. He wagged his tail slightly and raised his head, letting himself fall onto his haunches and stare deep into her eyes. He didn't know if it would help his point, but he would try.

"How so can I accept Xan when he is bloodthirsty? Darkness lingers at his mind, he is crazy beyond imagination. When he first heard your voice he wanted to rip your throat out for the blood, and now. . . he wants things." Kiros sighed and broke his eyes away from hers to gaze back at the river. He didn't know what to do now, he had encountered wolves, but none such as her, and certainly not ones that so quickly saw his problem. But it wasn't a problem. For once, Xan was silent. The wolf said nothing and Kiros found his heart longing for the sharp voice of scorn.
