Leave it to the WWE to change a match AGAIN, making it a mixture of a World Title and Intercontinental title match. The WWE is lucky that there is no competition (looking at you TNA) or else they'd drive fans away. Think back to the many promised main events that absolutely busted for WCW in its prime. It did long term destruction and when the WWE was cool again, fans began to flock to the better promotion in 1998.
Umaga needs to start moving up the card against better competition. Beating up jobbers is getting absolutely no reaction because fans GET that the WWE is trying to shove this guy down their throats as a crazy Samoan. We get it, WWE, so let's see how he can hang with some world class workers in the ring. I can almost guarantee that he won't be able to hang and he'll be completely exposed as an in-ring competitor. He might as well put on a jacket and start "making a difference", only to maybe attempt to become a Sumo wrestler who rubs his fatass into wrestler's faces. Maybe he'll hang around Too Cool, as well, and hit Steve Austin with a car?
ECW faired better this week, but only for the usage of Terry Funk. Pretty intense segment between the two and this kind of deal, not an unknown Tommy Dreamer getting beat up, would be something to upstart ECW. Kinda ironic, though, that Terry Funk is such a WWE employee now but he wasn't a year ago. Granted, he wanted to just do one show, but he did the Hardcore Homecoming show because it felt more "ECW like" than the WWE show. That's fine, but don't have your cake and eat it a year later. It's just another case of at the end of the day, all wrestlers will eventually come crawling back to the WWE. Vince McMahon has to love his job.
No Degeneration X reunion this week... I'm still convinced that they are only toying with fans, but we'll see. Do not doubt that Triple H will pull a swerve and actually join Vince McMahon, thus setting up another HHH vs. HBK feud. I'm assuming that because I'm sensing HHH might be moving away from feuding with Cena and onto different stuff. Something just doesn't tell me that Degeneration X is forming and it could just be a mark pipedream.
But what do I know? I didn't stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night.

I don't think he's doing this as a form of plagiarism, but as a form of somewhat reviewing what he read, think about it

doing that mixed title match crap was really stupid! RVD got screw, and as much as I don't like HHH, you got to admit that he got screwed too!
