Appearance:
-Eyes: Light pink, glittering with curiosity.
-Hair: A pale sea foam green, most days she leaves it hanging wild and loose.
-Tail: Once the same color as her body, when she turned into an adult, the color drained from it and is now pure white. Will its color ever return?
-Wings: The spines of her wings are a slightly darker lilac color then the rest of her body, while the leathery wing part is paler lilac with a slight pinkish tinge that almost matches her eyes.
-Body: Her body is a pale lilac color.
-Markings: She has a large ribbon-like pattern of a medium bluish-purple that criss-crosses her chest, down her legs, around her eyes, and along her ears
Personality: Incredibly inquisitive, she likes reading and discovering new things. She is a little scatterbrained but bright. She's terribly clumsy, though she tried not to be. Currently, she is confused as to who she is and is struggling with the new emotions brought on by meeting a boy.
Likes: Books, the color lilac, strawberries, the forest.
Dislikes: Most humans.
Hobbies: Reading, spying on people, lurking about in trees.
Strengths: While generally detached from people, when she gets lonely enough she will find someone to attach to - once she does they are forever her friend and she is eager to make them happy.
Weaknesses: Because of her light colored eyes, Alaera has some trouble seeing, especially at night. Perhaps this is the cause of all her clumsiness?

 Guardian_Iris Congratulations Alaera!
Now that you are old enough, the Guardians have decided to bless you with a special and unique ability!
Your new ability is Electroluminescence! (molecular)
((Obviously, this ability will start out weak, with many limitations, but it is up to you, chainedfaye, how you choose to develop it. Electroluminescence means that she can use her own body's energy to make herself into a light source. As she gets older and stronger, she will have the ability to manipulate the energy within other living creatures to make them light up as well. This ability will be unique to Alaera only, however you may allow her to have other abilities as Pae'il are magical creatures. Just be aware that the Guardian Blessed ability is the only official one however. If you have questions, feel free to ask.
Please remember, all powers come with weaknesses too. The more well-rounded the ability is developed (ie, strength AND weakness) the better the chance of being chosen for Elder when they are older.))

I'm a lil girl now *pulls on pigtails* And the Guardians blessed me with a power!
Finally, a teen. Time to have some fun....
An adult...oh the possibilities....

Alaera floated down from the sky into my arms.

A light enveloped Alaera and when it dissipated she had turned into a toddler.
~06/21/06~
Another light absorbed Alaera and she transformed into a child.
A note appeared next to her, saying the Guardians had blessed her with the ability Electroluminescence!

I officially became a teenager today. Hmph, 'bout time, now maybe I can go out on my own.

Ran away from Mother today and manged to find the island I was born on.

I have a family now! I adopted a little sister, Sylvestanya, and an Aunt, Sally.

While walking on the beach today, I found a glittering pearl like the other ones. No one else was around so I took it home with me and named it Asrai.

Christmas today!! I must have been a good girl because Santa brought me lots of plushies. Even a special one that I named Amethyst.

Asrai hatched from his egg today.

Ohmygosh!! My plushie, Amethyst, turned into a toddler Pae today!!

 Well, I really don't have any true family, but these are the people I adopted.
Sally - My aunt. She an angel pae that was once a pumpkin. She's a bit strange at times and kinda clueless when it comes to certain things, but you will never find a more loving and understand pae around!
Sylvestanya - My little sister. She always looked like a ghost, but when she turned into a teenager she died and became one! I feel kinda bad for her really, she's not dealing with the change well. She used to be happy and bursting with energy, but she's depressed a lot of the time now.
Asrai - My little brother. I found his egg on a beach and brought him home to live in a little puddle I made by my tree. He's a really nice typical guy but he doesn't spend much time around here, he keeps disappearing into the lake. I think he's got a friend there.
Amethyst - My little sister. She was a plushie I got for Christmas and much to my surprise, turned into a Pae! She's a bit stubborn and likes to be alone most of the time. I don't think I did a very good job raising her when she was little.

Polgara - we met when I was a teen. I ran into her baking at the HQ's. She's really nice and even let me have some of her cake. I'd never had cake before - it was delicious!
Karma - we met at the Winter Festival. She's really nice too though I think she relies too much on her Fate.
Kane - I first met Kane when dealing with that horrible Apocalypse person. And later he tried to eat me! Twice!! But I kinda like him, he's pretty cool.

Apocalypse - He's a terrible, horrible person who wanted to rip my wings off! He even licked my cheek, it was disgusting. I hope I never see him again!

I used to live with Isaurale in her home, but we had to flee because the villagers didn't like my power. We kept moving around until I turned into a teenager, when I ran away from her and returned to the isle. I live by myself in a tree now. It's really more comfortable than it sounds.

Curiosity always managed to get the best of me. And so, a couple of days ago when wandering listlessly around Gaia and I happened upon a sign reading "Please Push Red Button" well, I couldn't help myself.
The instant I pressed it, wind starting swirling around my body, and I felt my feet lifting up from the ground. Strangely enough, I didn't panic. I suppose you learn to expect odd things to happen in Gaia, they happen often enough anyways. I gazed up hoping to see where this mysterious wind was taking me, but the blinding light forced me to close my eyes. Just a few brief moments later, my feet found solid ground.
Cautiously, I opened my eyes not sure what to expect. The sight drew my breath away. Tall grasses swayed with the gentle wind blowing over the island. The bubbling sounds of a river were carried over the breeze. In the distance there was a towering forest alive with plant life, birds hovering over the trees. Beyond them loomed the twin peaks of mountains covered in the mist.
It was while I was looking at the mountains that I first noticed it. Something in the sky, first just a speck of color against the deep blue of the sky, but steadily growing larger as it came nearer. I watched in wonder, curiosity still getting the better of me.
The object continued to float downward, stopping in midair right in front of me. A small face beaming from within a bundle of pink cloth greeted me. Small wings poked out from the blanket, fluttering lazily in the light breeze, but I thought surely that could not be what was holding the tiny child up in the air.
The child giggled outstretching her hands towards me. In an instant, I found myself reaching for the little girl and holding her close to me. "Where did you come from" I wondered out loud but the only answer I received was a glittering in her eyes as she yawned sleepily and curled up next to the warmth of my body.
Smiling down at the lil one in my arms, I whispered "Well looks like you and me are in this together. You need a name though." Hmm, I think Alaera suits you well. Light, like the breeze that brought you to me. So what do you say Alaera, shall we go explore this new land together??
