I would like to learn how to use photoshop to create backgrounds. That look like that of Charcoal feathers and everyone elses. Also I was wondering how if you know do you make animal bases. Such as a Wolf or a Pegasus. Ive been trying to get the hang of hair and have used many tutorials however 2 colors are giving me trouble. The color White and the Color Black. I have a oc Im making with long black flowy hair and now this would help alot

backgrounds: no help from me here sweatdrop
Animal Bases: I have the same question you do lol
hair Color: for black don't just use a lighter shade to do shading & lighting use all black and white [did that make sense? I'm guessing a little, but It is just a hunch]

I'm willing to bet that the tutorial works the same no matter what tool you use. And it does help get the basis of the animal down. the only thing it doesn't cover are fur and scales, which are easy enough.
Fur: Use noise funtion then add a few stray pixels off the main edit
scales: just put light in little circles.
Unless you mean actual ACTUAL animals. Then you're gonna have to learn to draw and figure it out that way.
