Do you have the Japanese Gamecube version, or the PS2 version? Because I'll fusking kill people in their sleep for the PS2 "finished" version.

Yeah, it's the PS2 version. Haven't actually finished playing it yet, so I have none of the costumes, but...I've been working on translating some of the extra scenes. I'll post them when I'm done. biggrin

Hee. If you have a PS2 and are willing to mess with it, I could tell you how. OH, and money to spare. 3nodding
And I could also post other people's translations of extra scenes, if you wanted. I posted one of my translations on another message board, but it was horrible, so somebody else took the original Japanese I had provided and did a better translation.

Aww, that sucks. Every method I know for playing Japanese games involves taking the PS2 apart somehow.
OH NOES NOT THE ASSASSINS. ...Are they ninjas? Cuz that would be cool.
Oh, and Cruxisly-related, here's someone else's translation of an extra scene (the one I tried and sucked at):
Yuan: ...You guys.
Lloyd: You're still here? You could be killed by Mithos!
Yuan: ... So I could.
Colette: What are you doing here?
Yuan: I was remembering... the time when Mithos, Kratos, ....Martel and I were travelling together.
Lloyd: That's right, you and Mithos were in the same group.*
Colette: Why did you end up fighting with Mithos?
Yuan: ... Mithos' ideals were naive. Martel's deeply compassionate attitude was also depressing.
Lloyd: ... Eh?
Yuan: That's what I wanted to prove, but I myself ended up admiring their way of life. Mithos was always looking forward, and Martel bore all her suffering with a smile. The two of them... they resembled you, Lloyd, and the Chosen.
Lloyd: Do Mithos and I... really resemble each other that much?
Yuan: It's fine, Lloyd. It's not like Mithos was evil from the beginning. No, even now, for people who believe in his age of lifeless beings, he's "good."
Regal: You mean that there are two sides to every coin: what one side thinks is right, the other considers evil.
Yuan: That's right. The reason why Mithos saved neither the torn apart worlds nor all life is because he believed it to be the best.
Lloyd: What's that supposed to mean? How could it possibly be a good thing?
Yuan: In the ancient war, the Giant Kharlan Tree withered. The only source of mana large enough to make the seed germinate was the comet Derris Kharlan, which circled the world in a 100-year cycle.?That's why Mithos fixed Derris Kharlan in the heavens.
Lloyd: Does that have any relation with splitting the world in two?
Yuan confused Because mana had already run dry and the earth was barren, it would quickly die. All that was left was the small amount trickling forth from the Great Seed. It couldn't support the whole world. Then Mithos thought of the system in which the world was split into two, and both sides alternated using the Great Seed's mana.
Raine: And then... he split the world in two? So it wasn't only in order to prevent the development of magitechnology.
Yuan: That's right. He was holding out for the Great Seed's germination. But, during the one time in its 100 year orbit that Derris Kharlan bestowed its blessings, humans betrayed Mithos.
Colette: Why...? Even though Mithos saved the world?
Yuan: They wanted to monopolize mana. It resulted in Martel being killed and then being absorbed into the Great Seed. ...Mithos became a fallen hero.
Lloyd: A fallen hero...
Yuan: People, doesn't matter who, all carry darkness in their hearts. Even you... Well then, this fairy tale is over. I'm leaving this place. You guys should also leave quickly.

You know, in the end, it shows nothing of Yuan. I assumed that either Yuan stayed in his Renagade base forever OR he left on Derris-Kharlan with Kratos...

*reads Yuan's scene* Aaaaaaaaaw, and you wonder why I like Yuan so much. whee
Ah, the open-ended character everyone (okay, the developers) forgets about at the end of the game... *grins* That's why we write these things called fanfictions.

I wouldn't dream of asking you to pause in your obsessing of Kratos to write something about Yuan. It would be inhumane.

I just got my copy in the mail today. I didnt have to mod mine thanks to a nifty little disc you can buy on the internet that lets you play us/japanese game on an american/japanese PS2. Its great even though I can understand it but I know where to go already cause its just like the gamecube version. plus, I printed out a gamescript so I can read what theyre saying.
