I heard that a Ramayana movie will come out in 2007. Any truth to that? If it's true, I would love to watch it. I wanna see Hanuman kick a**! 3nodding

Don't get your hopes up. Bollywood movies have a tendency of blowing a**. It'll probably be just as lame as "The Passion of Jim Caviezel."

...I've seen one... My grandparents have it on DVD... It's like 11 DVDs or something and live-action... It's pretty good, I really liked it. Now I'm going to watch the other one with Krishan in it, sometime soon hopefully.

Actually, that was the Ramayana serial that probably plays today on Doordarshan (for whitie, that's Indian PBS). He's talking about a movie coming out next year. I haven't heard about it and IMDB doesn't even have a pre-/mid-production entry for it.

No, the one on TV is different from the one my grandparents have. It might've been a different one or something... But there's not any parts where a comercial would fit, or a recap thing, or an intro/ending theme thingy, only one credits at the very end.

Hm, perhaps. There were somewhere around five or six different versions of it. Which language is it in?

I've probably never seen it. I wouldn't be so solipsistic to believe that it doesn't exist, though.
