This guild has been dying a bit, so I thought that maybe I would do my part and put in a new thread so the people here who say they are active would have somewhere new to post.

So, as you know, there is a bit of a lull with Harry Potter, as no new books or movies have come out. But what do you do in the spare time?

Are any of you reading the books again? Or what are you reading?

I myself have gotten a few of Gregory McQuires books and I love them. I've also read the Da Vinci Code.

What about you?

I plan to read the Da Vinci Code. I've been studying a lot and been on her. I've reread the H.P. books in the past but I haven't done that with book six. I'm not sure why perhaps I didn't like the ending. It made me sad. Oh, that was a good idea to create something new. Thanks it gave me something to write in.

I always seem to find myself reading the first, fourth, and sixth ones over and over.

I'm trying not to reread anything yet, just because I have so many new books. >.>

I like to read the UGLIES trilogy by Scott Westerfeld. I sometimes contact Scott myself, but that was off topic. Also, I write my ideas of HP books. After the seventh book is released, I plan to continue the series for myself.

I reread book six and I still read fanfiction occasionally, though I haven't had much time. My new obsession, though, is Mugglecast. I love the Mugglecasters. They keep me entertained on the way to and from school and on any other car rides in which I don't want to have to talk to my parents...disadvantage of not having my license yet when I should. xp I've been listening to Mugglecast for my Harry Potter fix until the next movie and last book come out.

On the topic of non Harry Potter related things, I started Dracula today and am planning to read that, Lord of the Flies, Anthem, The Chronicles of Narnia, and many other books this summer to keep me occupied.

I watched the Sisterhood movie and loved it. Is the book better? I was thinking about getting it...

Wow! I just relaised it's actually been a while since I've re-read Harry Potter. So busy with school! *in shock* It's about time I do that.

Anyways, other than that, I really really like the Abarat books by Clive Barker, and I picked up The Golden Compass from the His Dark Materials Trilogy recently. I really liked it, so now I have to go find the second book whee
Hehe, and I've re-read the Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants a couple of times.

I read everything. Anything fantasy. I'm in the middle of about twelve books right now, so I won't list them all.

If anyone is looking for something to read, may I suggest "It's Kind of a Funny Story". Not sure of the author. It's amazing, though. Made me laugh, made me cry, the whole deal.

I also write a lot. Fanfiction, original stuff, random blatherings, whatever. Lots of writing. Yay.

Well, I tried to read the 5th book again but I couldn't. Not now that I know what happens in the 6th book.
So I've been reading all these Jaqueline Wilson books, (Please excuse my spelling) and watching the 4th movie.
Oh, and over in New Zealand at the moment on T.V. they're having like the 1st movie one night then the 2nd and then the 3rd. I think. Well, I watched the 1st movie last night. But yeah.

I read almost anything and everything. I spend a lot of time collecting books because I am a total bookworm! The otherday I had someone ask me how I could read during the summer. I loved the fourth Harry Potter book and read it as often as possible. I can't wait until the seventh book, it sounds really good!
