A small, red brick building on the back of the CoM lot, the archtypical schoohouse of Middle-American ancestral memory. It even has the quasi-church look about it, and a real bell. Outside, instead of the traditional playground equipment, there is instead an assemblage of benches and a communal firepit, the first of many suggestions that this School-house isn't for children.

As you walk inside you are struck by the quaint antiquity of this building. a cloakroom is off to the left, and a sign proclaims that no hats may be worn in the classroom. The walls are all old wood, and old-fashioned wooden windows are spaced intermitantly.

for a picture of the school room, go to: Here

This is the Wednesday School, for all modists to go to to learn how to be more modly. Lessons are held every Wednesday and cover everything from Basic behavior to interpretation of Chatterbox stickies.

Moderators are not bots. We do not moderate Gaia 24-7. We do not sit here hunched and drooling over our keyboards hitting the refresh key every minute on the main ED forum waiting for a repeat or misplaced thread to popup so we can pounce on it.

Clearly, this shows that Mods are not omnipotent, as many seem to suspect, but almost human, like the rest of the users. Some day, if we work hard and are always modly, we may even be able to become mods ourselves!

The mods are, as has been shown in the Gospel of Nora, Gaians who have been elevated to divine status by the Adminity (Like the trinity, but with all the Admins). They have the power to use their flaming swords to lock, and even delete threads and posts. But they are not omnipotent.

Have you ever wanted an item so bad that you sold you entire inventory? That is the economy devil.

Have you ever sold an unopened giftbox or trunk?
That is the economy devil.

He claims that Gaia is built on the economy, this is true, but he goes further. he believes we should worship the economy, the marketplace, the items we use.. he is materialism incarnate, one of the many enemies against which we must be ever vigilant.

He is not the incarnation, merely it's spokesman.

His spokesmen, so he tempts us to dive into the economy and embrace its devil?

More than that, he tells us to abandon the word of Mod in the pursuit of gold.

eek

gonk But..does he not realize that there is no use of the gold if there is no love and joy of Mod? We'd be overrun, faithless, alone, with only our money to comfort us...I..I..I pity him... sad
