((This RP is between me and Syrius, don't post please ^w^))
The day was humid and the young cub had slipped away from his mother and family, having finally had enough of the protective layer of flora and fawna(sp?) that overcast him and his siblings withing the Umande'mfuni lands.
But preferably, young Moses saw past the sweet mystery that was his father's heritage and pride.
He had more interest in the dark, masochistic charm of his mother's past. The thing's she had seen. And the lions she had met...yet she didn't speak of a few imparticular.
He hoped one day, he would meet this one.
However, from the ever apparent, emotionless glance from his young face.
It was truly hard to tell whether he hoped for anything or not.

Why he was out this far was uncertain. The mist weavers borders were far from his home, his sanctuary. Yet with the promise of new birth, of arrival of his heir, his own seed, the salmon tainted lion had felt enlightened. or more likely enriched. he wanted to walk the border and breath in the scent of lions there. To see the land, even if it was from afar, to see that which one day he fully intended to hold in his sharp claws and grip tightly.
He was out in the dry long grasses, surveying all that he already knew he would own one day when the scent of something, almost familiar wafted to his nostrils. Barring his fangs a low growl rumbled from deep in his chest. It was a cub. Golden eyes fell upont he little thing, beast of these lands, creature he wasn't allowed to touch. For all hos wont to take this land, he was by no means strong enough yet and bringing down the wrath of the mist weavers, no, he did not int he least delight in that thought. Though imagining them lost in HIS desert was a delight.
He did not move, laying silently in the grassy shade his gaze occasionally falling upon teh cub. Mistweaver brat.. He seethed quiely, so close to him, so clsoe for the taking for the lifting, for the removal. Stretching out his black claws from their soft dark sheathes he yawned. He could ignore it. This was a surveilance mission, one day he would come and cubnap a whole gaggle of the brats and they would feel his claws, his wrath. His nose wrinkled. This cubs scent strangely familiar....

Young Moses neither saw nor smelt the new lion, his attention to grasped on getting away before he paused and watched as a small rabbit hopped before his path. The cub wrinkling his snout before he followed it, it had only stopped a short distance to turn and look at the moonlight white figure. His black tuft of hair falling across one of his red eye's as he watched the little kitten.
However, after a short moment of them eyeing each other, the cub suddenly thrashed the tiny rabbit across the throat, blood splattering across his white face and yet he barely batted an eye. But cocked his head in mock curiousity and awe in watching it's slow death. A thing of dark beauty.
The cub was different from his siblings, not only was he the lightest, he was the one who cared least for other's feelings, apart from his mother and father. But he continued to watch, his black claws pressing against the squealing creature's throat as it slowly bled to death.

The scent of blood. For those who liked to feel death, feeling the breath, the life, the heart beat fade from a creature was wonderful. More so if you had no intention of eating the creature. The pure thrill of the sport, of the death. His nostrills filled with the heated gasp of plasma and he gave a throaty muurr as he turned his golden eyes upon the youngster once again. Light fur, not untypicle of the mistweavers, a glimmer of red eyes though. The fur ont heback of his neck rose and he growled quietly "Eat your meal then run home to your mother brat" he grumbled, a low throaty rumble which echoed deep from that large cavernous chest.
His tail lashed as he lay there, his head resting between his shoulder blades the huge jet black mane filling out around him making him look quite alot larger than he acctually was. Still, he was an impressive sight, honey glazed eyes filled with little emotion, though a flicker of anger, hatred glimmered there, his shoulders and forquarters a mess of hulking mucle and sinew, his chin solid and high. He could eb a threatening, frightening sight.
"Do you hear me cub?" he asked again his lips curling in a scowl. Oh how he longged to kill the child before him. Bring death to this high and mighty corner of the world. he could not, he had to wait, paitence, was not his virtue it was somone elses but he had to follow it, for now, ohh only for now.

The cub got a small start as he turned and looked at the large male that suddenly walked into view, but his expressionless and emotionless stare was still there, if he had taken a little more of a deffensive stance. He then cocked his head at the older males word's and narrowed his bright red eye's.
"Begging your pardon, unknown wanderer." He started of politely, he'd been told to respect his elders...no matter who they where. "But I have little intention of going back to my mother's side...nor any of my families side."
He then turned to the dead rabbit as let his small claws, pleasingly rake through the dead flesh, cocking his head slowly to the other side.
"Nor do I intend upon eating that which was for my own amusement."

The big male looked surprised, to say the least at the statement of sport. His claws unsheathed and settled once again and those golden yellow eyes rested upon the youngster. "It's a dangerous world, you know you could get eaten" He asmirked, his rough pink tongue lapping out at his white lips. "does your motehr know you are out seeing the world? Or does she think you've gone for a snak?" He sounded rather sarcastic. A cub as young as this leaving his mothers teasts so soon? The salmon tinted male was suddenly reminded of himself. How he had longed for Laana to return and take him on his adventures. See the world, take a mate, kill some creatures. He smirked, the killing part was his favourite.
"Tell me adventurer will your mother miss you?" He raiseda brow, it was little compensation to know he could steal the cub and it not be known it was him. Nyek was vein, he liked his prey top know he was in charge, that he was pulling the reins, that it was he whom caused their heart ache. There was little point in stealing a willing cub. Still...
The black maned male looked intregued. "Where I live, I have a gibbet" He smirked "Creatures bodies rotting int he sun, creatures whom are edable but not worth my time, theyare simply there to be killed, lifeforms of lower intelligence, of little guile" He rolled his shoulders slightly those mucles in his forquarters tencing and relaxing as he did so. "Tell me your name escapee" He smirked and waited, silent once again. His own name, would it still be spoken here? He was never sure what happened after the incident with Laana, how could he possibly know? He liked to think he had scarred some creatures minds for life, perhaps he was a nightmare for the youngsters of the mistweaver lands. Vanity, he knew he was vein, it was always nice to be known, especially if his name was spoken in fear. He liked to be feared, it was the way it should be.

The young cub watched him, flicking his head so his small tuft of hair was out of his face and so both his bright red eye's could see the male. His tail flicking back and forth as she watched him, his small, black crop of hair frizzing a little, even though he stated an air of calm around him and gave a small, indignant snort.
"I care not what she knows...she may think I've gone and kill more animals like she trains me too." He stated calmly.
Moses still watching the large male. This one was very interesting, but very strange. He spoke like he demanded the authority and personally, that is what the young cub decided to give him. He may have been young, but he was not stupid.
At his next question, he gave a light shrug of his shoulders and cocked his head to the side. "She may or may not, I don't know, she say's that I will be able to leave when I am juvenille...however personally I wish not to wait that long." This was then ended with a sharp nod from the tiny white male, before he continued to listen to the large male once more.
However, his demeanor changed some as he spoke once more. The cub's mouth hanging slightly open as his eyebrow's raised, all the while Nyekundu described his gibbet and of the way he talked of such impertenant creatures. In the same way he thougth such lower lifeform's where inferior.
He then cleared his throat. "Sir, you sound like a very respectable male to think of such useless creatures in such a manner and to use them as such for your sport." He said, a little more emotion to his voice...but not much. "My name is Moses."

Respect. The word echoed in his ears, he loved respect he loved even more to be obayed. This cub had currantly done both as well as given him praise. he was starting to like this boy. "I could show you if you like, though I doubt you would be able to return to your motehrs n****e if I did" he lashed his tail a glimmer in his eyes. Those deep amber orbs shone with just a touch of their usual sinister self. He could take this cub and kill it, he could tear out it's innards and spread them upon his gibbet. He could do it to avenge his hatred for the mist weavers.
Settling a bit he shook his head, having one of their own in his ranks, loyal to him would be revenge enough. "Your mother sounds like a smart woman though paitence isn't my virtue" He chuckles quietly lashing his tail again. "Moses" He licked his lips, opening his mouth and closing it with a slight click as if he were tasting the name for potency, for it's delishious irony perhaps.
"My name is Nyekundu, Lord Nyekundu I harken from a place far away from here, impenetrable to peons, accross a desert of white moving sands accross which no four legged beast can be tracked." Nyek sheathed and unsheathed his claws with a smirk, waiting, watching, hoping for a reaction. The golden eyed male watched the youngster, he reminded him of himself so much, but also of Laana, who else would pass on those red dazzling eyes. He surpressed a growl, owning one of Laanas cubs, it would be a delight, an honor for him just to know that he had taken one of hers and made the child loyal to him, to his vision.

Moses watched him closely, his eye's narrowing just a little before he stood on all fours, his snout wrinkled. "With all respect sir, but I am no weakling that depends on mother's milk anymore, I desire blood that I claim with my own claw and fang." He said, before looking at him. "I will desire no return here...Lord Nyekundu"
As he spoke the large lion's formal title, he took into consideration the description of this new land. White sand? A kingdom in the middle of nowhere...it would sound so much more different than this place. No tracks to be left either?
"Your home sounds much more unique than this place..."

A slight touch of dissapointment crossed the big males face. His name was not recognised. Fools, they wouldn't forget so easily one day. Lashing his tail he lowered his head and smirked at the cub, his bright yellow orb smirking "You are brave to stand before me Moses" He whisper "Many would prefare to walk the other way and whisper my name in vein to their mothers." Slowly the big male got to his foot paws yawning and stretching. "how far can your legs go before the give out?" eh looked serious about this question "We have a long way to go and I don't usually ferry cubs" He chuckled, he could easily carry the youngster in his jaws, he would be supremely tempted just to bite down though.
Streching out his claws he gave a very smug little smirk "I never thought I would see laanas eyes again" he said in an off hand sort of way.
He turned away from the cub, it was best they were away from the mistweavers borders. Somone might discover them. Running away was not something he would enjoy doing, especially from these pansy assed mistweavers, but he could not face them all. One day he would and Moses would help him. He had a feeling this cub would be useful, very useful indeed.

The cub watched him, would he be taken away now from his peace loving home? To this gibbet of dead bodies and rotting corpses? As the large male lowered his head, Moses just watched him, blinking those dazzling light red eye's before he cocked his head and answered the salmon tinted King's question.
"I can go as far as you can, you don't have to worry about me." He said, semi seriously. "Besides, without the pain, the journey wouldn't be worth it, it's what makes travellers strong."
At Nyekundu's next comment, he just paused, but did not answer. Instead he continued after the male, short little legs giving three small steps to his giant strides. He didn't know what he was in for...personally, he didn't care. In the back of his young mind, he knew that this would be something to mark his place in life. And so, he followed his destiny.

The big male smirked, he was being a touch foolish he knew, still, there was no need to worry unduely after all, there were ways to escape.
The big male looked down at the little cub, his golden yellow eyes glimmering in the sunlight "i was a little older than you when i left my home, of course, thw world is a whole lot bigger than you ever imagine truely" He rolled his shoulders and continued to walk his steps heavy though some how he seemed to cover his tracks. The jungle ould be the best place to hide in at least for tonight. he had to get the cub there swiftly. he didn't wish to be caught in the open. The savannah, ugh, who in their right mind would wish to live in such an arid place?
Chuckling he glanced once more at Moses "Say good bye to your home, you won't see it again for a long while." He licked his lips "My oasis, it is far more beautiful than this little back water, though we must traverse the jungle first." He did not pause in his steps as he went in fact he started to speed up slightly. if the cub could not keep up he was of little use to him, he wasn't going to carry the youngster accross the desert. That was a females errand, the boy would run or be left behind. "Come moses run to your newlife" he whispered to the air his golden orbs flashing with a rather gleeful smirk.

A pair of aqua green eyes had been on the pair for quite a time from the shadows of a small underground hole hidden under the roots of one of the many ancient trees that served as a wall to the mistweaver valley. Taban had been in the area for qutie a time now, the thought of fresh water and young prey appealed to him. He was learning to hunt and already was showing quite a decent rate of sucess though his catches were small. It was enough to put a smile on his beloved mother's face and enough to give him bragging rights over Lucia.
The cheetah calmly pulled himself from the hole, making his presense known by a simple clearing of his throat. He was a bit larger than the pink lion would remember, his upper body showed impressive muscle build that almost put a young lion's body to shame.
"Well well... the little crusader has finally grown his mane in." He smirked a bit, tossing his head up, "And to think I'd find you around these lands again. Are you moving forward with your little plans then? And to think I thought they were only daydreams."
He glanced over to Moses, quirking a brow but remained silent on the matter. Such a young cub away from his mother.. how strange. Of course, the pink one did mention stealing cubs.

Nyek was in a hurry, his tail lashed and he growled a bit "Who are you calling little cheetah?" he snarled. It smelt like a lion but this cub was not one and the salmon tainted male made sure he knew it "If you wish to converse move, I have no time for standing still" He grunted his large mane falling around his shoulders and in to his eyes as he picked up the pace carefully checking that Moses was still behind him. The cub was coming of his free will. It was his dream to own a mist weaver and now he owned one without even a fight. The cub was following of it's own accord. Excellent.
"You know cheetah, you would be of use to my pride if you would just realise your strengths. Fastest animal in africa, or so I'm told. Pick up your claws I have no time to stop and dither. these lands are not safe...for now" he smirked, one day he would come and destroy themall in one foul swoop. For now though, his oasis did just fine. The jungle wasn't exactly a stretch to get to but they had to be there before dusk and away in to it's deapths. He had no wont to be followed even if the cub came willingly.

As they where beginning to move faster, the young male gave a perplexed blink before moving to the older lions side, his brows furrowing in a determined way as he payed no attention to the fastest cat in the lands.
He'd never seen a cheetah before. But he was not going to allow cub curiousity to get the better of him.
Moses wanted to see this Oasis. And how many other lions resided there, that was the only part of him curious right now as he padded quickly by the salmon lion's side.
