So ladies and gentlefolk I am sure there a few gamers out there somewhere in this guild that would like to hack it out with me about which of the next generation consoles are going to kick the others arses!!
So as things go Sony have thieved Nintendos idea for downloadable back catalogues along with their idea for a motion sensitive controller.... and XBox... what the hell is up with them... their line up is s**t for the 360 even though its been out for ages now... apparently they explode....
So hop to it!!!
*in true noobish GCD regular style* Discuss....

Well, all 4 would be nice......
*snatches them and runs*
Seriously though, I'm rooting for Sony. The Wii is smokay but not great. I don't like Bill Gates and his richness and I also dislike Halo...so boo to you 360!

Well I dunno which system I'll get if I do choose to get one.
The PS3 is basically an assortment of weaker processors banding together to act as a sort of super processor, allowing for some pretty sweet games to be played. It'll allow for background rendering, ingenious AI, and exquisitely detailed characters all at once at an above average frame rate.
XBox 360 crashed and burned in my eyes. So much potential, but Microsoft rushed it to make a killing in sales. First he screws over the PC users by denying them a PC version of Halo 2 and now this. Tsk tsk, not saying it's a bad system, but they could have done so much more.
And for the Wii...I'll admit I'm a nintendo fan boy. Nintendo won't fall for a very long time, if it ever actually does. It has the most loyal fan base of the three and has a strong, reliable past. And the games that Nintendo is promising are bound to make up for the supposed short comings of the Wii. I mean come on! Super Smash Brothers Brawl! You get to use Snake in it! And Metaknight and a simply stunning roster of characters you'll be bound to know from somewhere.
Well, there's my hastily put together post. Oh well, I'll probably wait awhile anyway so that the price on the systems go down. Or I could just keep playing on my PC and just get the inevitable emulator to play the games. xd

The Wii looks awesome, I means its just so smechsky it almost... well it almost makes me Wii... see the funny little pun I did there....
PS3, never been a fan of playstation, well not since the PS1 and to be honest Sony, in my eyes appear to have just ripped the s**t out of Nintendo on this one and I think that their console is going to be so delayed that people will loose interest, they seem to have stuffed in a lot of last minute features which will probably ******** up.
XBox/Microsoft, the machine is crap. Thats putting it politely, by all accounts it lags the high hell out of a lot of graphically brilliant and screws up in plentiful amounts. I head they were going to replace the processor in it or something along those lines. It would take something to fix the blasted thing.

I wont be buying any, I don't have an interest in gaming. I only play if I'm really reallly bored and have nothing to do, that is rare too... The first console I had was an N64, it was great I loved it. I still remeber sitting down to play super mario 64 on it on Christmas day, everyone was great back then, no problems, nothing I knew of or could understand. Those where simpler times, better times. How I long for them once more. Just one more day without pain, without diseise, hurt, troubles, one more day without having to worry about your familys health or security, one more day without having to care about those in need, one more day without having to worry about the future of your country, your world, one more day without having to fight for all you hold dear on God's green earth. One more day please. neutral DAMNIT I'M ONLY ONE MAN! mad

Damn you Microsoft! Stick to making computer operating systems and computer games! And the new Windows Vista looks pretty and promising. Just a random thought. xd Dude, Vista is just plain wrong. It is nothing more than a low grade cheap Bill Gates whored version of MAC OSX, Ive used Vista in Beta and its pants, instead of upgrading your windows system to it just go buy a MAC, as far as machines go they hammer PCs until their 6 feet under. Anyways the XBox was a sound machine with some good concepts, the 360 has some things going for it, it was the first out but it was really rushed meaning they pretty much killed the system itself- sales however are a different matter. People wanted the first of the next gen machines, and itll sell even more when it drops in price in November to compete with the PS3....
Bono, funny I never owned an N64, I got swept up in the disc craze, cartridges at that time seemed like the thing of the past :/ What you sasid about good times back them, maybe thats why people sometimes cling to old school machines, when they play the games its not only nostalgia but like a little bit of time travel. I will admit I still own a SNES and I still play it, same with the Dreamcasr, which was an awesome machine and deserved to not have had its production stopped. WHY SEGA WHY!! xd
Oh and, I dont game that frequently either, I play my DS stacks because its just so handy, but I never use my XBox nowadays unless I have mates over, nor do I use my GC unless I wanna play Crystal Chronicles with Joffie which hasnt been in many a year now....
