I've changed the bio of my character. You should probably read it. I changed it because
1) My other one wasn't very good and didn't really have very much info.
2) More characters are getting added to the RP (most notable are Elendur, Aratan and Ciryon (Isilidurs sons) and Meneldil (Anarions son)) and since my character is married to Isilidur, it's just going to make sense that she is the mother of his children. So they needed to be mentioned somewhere.
Now all we need are people to RP those characters left... ninja

I find it horribly ironic that we spend 20,000 gold on a guild and then stop RPing.
My last post was basically a well disguised bump, if you couldn't tell.

Good idea....it would be too complicated trying to fix up the histories....if he's the 4th, then that means Isilien would have had 4 children in 3 years. Yeesh!
But how is he going to come into the rp? What's his reason for not being around before? Away training? I want to get this clear before I respond to his post.

Actually, when Meneldil is born is up to debate. I gave ssjgotenks the date.... well, whatever is on his bio. Anyway, that's the most recent date Tolkien gave Meneldil. Elendur, according to me, is now the last Man born on Numenor.

It was a very good bump lol My character has nothing to do and I'm half asleep the majority of the time on gaia and haven't thought of anything to do with her other than to cause trouble... lol fun!

Oh, also: there is no second page to the Gondor thread yet. Its just another bug that will eventually get fixed. See, every time we edit a post, the guild system regards it as another post. And the system adds another page every time we get to 15 replies. So if we edit a post enough times, the system will think that there are 15 posts, and add another page... even if there aren't actually enough posts for one yet.
And now, to elaborate on the Meneldil issue.
Initially, Meneldil (Anarions’s youngest child) was the last child born before the Downfall, in the year 3318. Elendur, Isildur’s eldest son, was born some time earlier However, later in his life, Tolkien decided that this was not so. He pushed Meneldir’s birth back 19 years (did I say later at some point? That would be a slip of the tongue), placing it before the birth of the eldest son of Isildur The title of the last Numenorean he then gave to Elendur.
Basically:
3299: Birth of Meneldil
3318: Elendur is born
3319: The Downfall
3320: Gondor and Arnor are founded.
3339: Birth of Aratan
3379: Birth of Ciryon
This, of course, presents some problems that Miaka will need to sort out with Eothain, because now Anorion had a son some 20 years before he met his wife. sweatdrop
Oh, ssjgotenks: This would make Meneldil 126 years old, not 96 as I had said. I subtracted the dates incorrectly, it seems. sweatdrop
