6pm Be prompt. Tradiness is not accepted. After the sudden downtime of the system, the mandatory meeting hopefully would lead to answers to the questions that had been floating through the school. Early morning the day before the system had been taken down, the door to the lab had been locked with no explaination as to why. Even hackers couldn't access the system from their remote locations. Over the course of the day there had been many rumors floating around. Possibly a hacker finally snapped the delicate balance of the system forcing it to fail, or perhaps it was getting taken away forever. With no one around to explain, all the students could do was wait. When the first student arrived, the room was brightly light. A large difference from the normal dim lighting. The room was set up exactly as it had been, the many plush chairs cleaned but still set exactly as they normally were. Every computer screen was on, showing the pastel shaded DreamLand logo, the humming of the computers the only sound minus the breathing of the three figures. Seth sat at the desk, flipping through sheets of coding a pencil tucked behind his ear. Sidney stood behind him, leaning agains the blackboard with her arms crossed. Dr. Kamikawa sat at her computer, a cup of coffee sitting next to her. "Sit down," Seth instructed, waving to one of the many stations. "Don't log in." His orders were just that orders that were expected to be followed. It was clear that nothing would be explained till all the students arrived. As more students filtered into the room, Sidney spoke up, pulling a chair up to sit down, "You can talk amongst yourselves till everyone is here," she instructed.

kaleidoscopegrl [ Chiyo ]
Chiyo didn't know if she should be happy or worried about this special event they club was having. As students enter the room one by one, she checked their names on her roster. Having given all the students profiles to Sidney and Seth before hand, Chiyo simply watched. She didn't need to id the students to the Aquilas. They probably knew more about these kids than she did.
[ Scarlett ]
Scarlett hurried in. Her long cinnamon curls pulled up in a pony tail. Scoping out her usual seat, she sat and waited as instructed.midnight_medea [Rashne] Ra had spotted the notice last minute that morning. Not wanting to be late for the meeting he hurried along to the astrology room wondering what was going on and if any of the rumous were true.
"Hey." He said sitting down next to Scarlett. "What's up?"Rown [ Brae ]
It had been a long while since this Irish youth had stepped anywhere outside of his room or the classrooms in Aquilla. Having kept himself cooped inside his room for the better half of almost five months, Brae's personality had slowly grown into a deeper form of withdrawl.
Despite this, he soon found himself at the door to the Astrology club, a club which was more like a memory to himself than anything. As he walked in, he wondered if anyone would recognize him with his new appearance, not that he had done anything to himself to change - other than stay indoors and away from human contact.
Taking an empty seat in front of a computer, Brae's eyes dully stared at the screen, as if he couldn't see it in front of himself.kaleidoscopegrl [ Chiyo ]
The club adviser ticked the names off as the students entered. Quixote... Kusani... O'Fossen... It amused her to know that the three aquaintences shared a tangled, twisted relationship. She snickered watching the roommates sitting at side by side consoles.
[ Scarlett ]
"Hey Ra, nothing much really. Just dancing, dancing, and more dancing," Scarlett whispered, getting a shiver from looking at the unfamiliar people sitting with Dr. Kamikawa. "How about you?"Yuru [ Jun ]
Jun had literally ran from his dorm to the lab, his messenger bag still slung over his shoulder. He'd missed the message due to being in the library for so long, he'd noticed the bold letters on the corkboard infront of his dorm as he was walking in and had turned around to run back.
He looked so different then last time anyone had seen him. His hair was one shade of blonde. Gone were his punk clothing to be replaced with black jeans, and a dark red button up. He no longer wore his sleeve warmers so his tattoos were clearly seen.
Pushing some of his long bangs from his face he walked into the lab, noticing a few people he knew before he saw Scarlett. He'd met her in one of his classes. Smiling to the spanish dancer, he took a seat next to her. "This seat isn't taken is it?" he asked.Rown [ Brae ]
His gaze still set on the computer that was both in front of and not in front of himself, Brae ran his fingers through his red-orange hair, not really paying attention to how much it had grown in a short amount of time. Before it had merely been enough to pass for a cute boy haircut, but now it easily rested on his shoulders and needed to be pulled back to stay out of his face. At the moment he had it pulled back, since it was obvious he would need to see for whatever the reason.
Brae turned, after a few moments, to peer at those around him. He thought he recognized some of them, by voice and appearance, but lack of contact was turning him into something of a forgetful hermit. All by choice, of course.
"...Scarlett."kaleidoscopegrl [ Chiyo ]
"Cutting it finely, aren't we, Jun-kun," Chiyo said, looking over the top of her glasses. "Nice of you to join us." She checked his name off her list and gave the Aquilas a nod.
[ Scarlett ]
"Hey Brae, long time no see," Scarlett smiled, waving to the next row. "Sure Jun, I saved it for you. I wasn't sure if you were going to make it on time."midnight_medea [Rashne] Ra watched as Brae and a boy he hadn't met before entered the room. Ra's eyes went to the tattoos on his arm. Nice style. He thought looking around the room. Absently he listened to Scarlett and the boy talk. One eyebrow raised at the mention of the boys name from both Scarlett and Dr Kamikawa ... so this was Jun.
Turning to face them both he smiled.
"Do you have any idea what's going on?" He asked Jun. Yuru [ Jun ]
Smiling at Chiyo, he let out a nervous laugh. "Yeah.. sorry," he replied before looking back to Scarlett. "Well thank you love, it's much appreciated."
"Brae I've not seen you in forever. Nice hair, makes you look older," the korean said with a smile. Looking to Ra he shrugged, "I have no idea. I know those are the admins though.. it must be important if they're here." Rown [ Brae ]
Brae nodded his head slowly, his eyes casting down towards the floor. He hadn't seen these people in so long, he should have so much to say to them and talk to them about, yet he found no words rising to his mouth or his mind.
Instead, he simply turned his face back towards the screen and kept his eyes down.kaleidoscopegrl [ Chiyo ]
Checking her watch, Chiyo tapped her notebook. Several students were late. Turning to Scarlett, she asked her if she knew where Huntington was.
[ Scarlett ]
"I saw her this morning, Dr. Kamikawa," Scarlett jumped in her chair. She shook her head as Brae ignored her. "She knows to be here."midnight_medea Ra Heh, well, this was all nice and awkward.
"Hmm, intriguing." He said in reply to Jun and turned his eyes back to the admins. "I've heard a couple of rumours floating around. Not sure how true they are though."Erina_Nobara [ Pyper ] The musician had been worried ever since the lab had shut it's doors; cutting off all access. She couldn't help, but wonder what was going on. When she saw the notes tacked on the many message boards at the school, she hurried to designated meeting place. "No no no, I can't be late, they're gonna kill me."
Her snowy white hair flowed behind her as she rushed in the door. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry. I couldn't get away from the band director." She winced. "He knew I was supposed to be here too," she grumbled. "...talking my ear off about a concert..."
Staring down at the floor embarrased, she slowly moved to one of the chairs and glanced around the room. "....."Yuru [ Jun ]
"So have I.." he muttered before shifting slightly, fingers tracing over one of his tattoos on his left wrist. He felt so odd without his sleevewarmers on.
Smiling at the embarassed tone in Pypers voice, he sat back in his chair. He'd not seen his roommate in awhile too. The world was like a new place to him still. Rown [ Brae ]
Brae blinked as he looked at the ground, finally turning his gaze up after he heard some voices that he was more certain of the owners. Pyper mostly, yet still Brae did not speak as he sat in his chair and stared at the floor.
He couldn't find the need to make himself talk unless someone spoke to him, as he'd grown accustomed to the silence.ceedabear Obie did not run. She was not atheletic in any form or fashion and hated sweating. Yet here she was pelting down the hallways of Aquila. She was soooooo late. Arriving at the Astrology Lab out of breath and flushed, she glanced around at the small gathering and found an empty seat, not paying any attention to who she was sitting next to. It looked like she had made it just in time. Shutensa Quote: Looking at the poor turnout, Seth ran a hand through his hair. He'd hoped for more people then this but he knew that a lot of the students were away on holiday. He'd personally received the notice that the players for Epitaph and Suzu would be in Hokkaido for the weekend. It'd gotten to him by accident because it'd been sent from the Hokkaido police department. Atleast they'd tried. He'd give them that. Putting his pencil down he looked up, waiting for a lull in the conversation before he began to speak. "I'd hoped more of you would come but obviously we didn't post the notice soon enough." An error he was willing to admit. "As you noticed we took the system down yesterday morning. There were a number of errors, glitchs and server settings that were wrong so it was vital that we take it offline to fix them all. We called you all here to explain the new installments. " Here he paused. Only half the truth was being said here but it was only half he was willing to tell. "First the server settings. We were able to fix the sensorary settings. Making it so attacks, and normal traveling wouldn't cause any upset to you. Second there are few new updates. There are warp portals in every city. They are in the main square and will warp you to the other cities for a small price. They will not warp you to fields, only cities. "We also implemented the PK update," at the blank stares he suddenlly faced, Seth almost rolled his eyes. "Player Kill. You are now able to actively hunt the other players to defeat them. Tokens are provided with each kill however the excessive hunting of players will not be allowed. You will loose your equipment at the first offense and your avatar will be deleted at the next. With the reloading of the server we started a festival. The Festival of the Dead." Here he took a moment to look over the notes infront of him. "That's all. First any questions?" he asked lifting an eyebrow. He hoped he wouldn't have repeat himself. Rown [ Brae ]
Brae nodded to what the boy had been saying, his eyes and mind trying to place the figure. It would be no surprise if he had no idea who it was, but he simply waved his hand and gave a polite bow of his head.
"I have no questions, just a simple 'thank you' for your hard work."
He didn't know why exactally he was thanking this new person, considering a lot of what he had said flew over Brae's head like a jet plane.kaleidoscopegrl [ Chiyo ]
Dr. Kamikawa rolled her eyes and hung her head, Williams and Huntington decided to grace the club with their presences. Allowing Seth to give his update, Chiyo indicated to the students to ask questions quickly.
[ Scarlett ]
"Um, how are we supposed to fight? Is it just hand to hand combat or will weapons be available?" Scarlett asked, raising a hand timidly. "I'm not out for kills, but I would prefer my avatar to defend themself if attacked. Also, what happens to the character once it's killed... I mean, is it 'game over' no more club?"midnight_medea [Ra] Noticing Obie enter the room, Ra moved from his seat to go and sit next to her. He sat in silence whilst the admin spoke, suddenly intrigued by the idea of KP. Once they had finished and the room lapsed back into hushed conversation he turned to whisper to Obie.
"That should make things interesting." He said with a low snort of laughter. Waiting to hear what they had to say in response to Scarlett's question.Erina_Nobara [ Pyper ] "Player killing..." Pyper began. It was obvious she was slightly uneasy about this. "Yes, I was wondering the same thing as Scarlett. Weapons would be handy for self-defense... But...thank you for the information. I hate not knowing what's going on," she mumbled. "To tell you the truth it made me pretty nervous.."ceedabear Obie watched Ra as he moved to find a seat closer to her and graced him with a sardonic smile at his comment. She really didn't have a clue what was going on, so she was content to wait and see what the answers to Scarlett's questions would be. Yuru [ Jun ]
Shrugging at the option to ask questions he waited for Scarlett and Pypers to be answered. Those were his main concerns as well. Shifting in the seat he watched Seth as he answered. " he started, crossing his arms, "If you are killed you can be revived by a priest or anyone in the holy path. Or you can restart and you will be warped into the last town you visited. If you are revived you will be fully healed, if you choose to restart then you will be healed only to half precent. There is a potions shop in every town that sells cheap healing ones." - - - - - - - - - - - - "If that's all the questions we're done. You can all log in. If there are any problems, glitchs, any thing that doesn't seem normal then pm either the name Domino or Rook. We'll be supervising the reload and want to make sure everything is perfect." Here he stood and looked to Sidney who'd remained silent the whole presentation. She was sick from working too many hours and he knew she needed to get back to her room to relax. With that he let everyone log in. Looking to Chiyo he nodded. Chiyo was to be their second contact. If something happened and the players couldn't contact them, she was to do it. Watching them all before leaving with his sister. - - - - - - - - - - - - Quote: Tomatina The city was beautiful with it's brightly colored tents. It was the perfect city for a festival. Even with the festivals dark name and meaning Tomantina was glad to hold it. Calling it an honor to hold the first Festival of the Dead. There were shops everywhere selling all kinds of tastey and beautiful objects. Shiva and Nova had both set up tents to sell their new designs. Shivas bright colored clothing hanging on silver hangers next to Nova's finely made weapons. Many were dancing in the street, the npc's singing to the songs playing from the many live bands. The air was cool and the sky was a beautiful shade of purple, blue and gold. "Welcome to Tomatina! Enjoy, Enjoy!" Cried a girl that was part of the welcoming commitee. With her bright green hair and eyes she looked chipper and kind. With a swirl of the fabric that drapped on her arms much like a gyspy, she threw flowers into the air.
