 The Story:In the Genie world, concern is spreading because people are rapidly ceasing to believe in magical creatures. Thus the Genies passed a proposal to become more modern, and now Genies are appearing in many big cities, such as Las Vegas, NV. They chose to send the youngest Genies, the ones who have not yet mastered their powers fully, so that they can better adapt to the human world. These Genies conceal themselves in more modern objects than lamps, such as lampshades or Coca-Cola cans. Thus our story begins in the gambling city of Las Vegas, Nevada. Location: There are many places your character can live/be located at. Weither it may be the Wedding Chapel or one of the Hotels. Where ever they may be, is up to you. #1 walks out of the Aladdin casino with his so called friends. Who take pleasure in smoking every single break. One of his friends turn around, and ask him, "Do you want to smoke a joint with us?" #1 frowned, he knows it would create a bad habit for him, but he wasn't usually accepted in groups of friends so he said, "Sure." His friend smirked, "Well then go get some matches!" They laughed, #1 rolled his eyes and went back inside the hotel. He entered the back room trying to find a match. He managed to find one match box, he opened the box and lit one match so he can watch the pretty flame.

The lit match exploded up in a ball of orange and smoke, unfurling to reveal a strange red-haired man, his hand reaching out towards #1. His feet did not touch the ground, nor did the shock of orange dissipate, as his hair was brightly orange and his clothes edged in reds. The boy smiled gleefully at #1's stunned expression, his hand plucking the match from #1's hand. "Your first wish?" he inquired, his smile never faltering.

"What?" Rin frowned at him, flying and circling around him as if the source of this comment were on his body somewhere, and not him himself. "You don't believe? It really is bad!" He broke into a rain of histrionic sobbing, his hands kneading #1's shirt and wiping off fake tears. "Whatever will I do with this activated wish?"

"O-oy, calm down!" He sighed, might as well play along. Perhaps this guy, is just some poor young drunk who needs to get by. "Fine, Fine...I'll play along ok? You want me to make a wish?" He folded his arms, "I wish...to be a billionare." He smirked, he knew that would never work. Unless he somehow win the grand prize at the big casino machine while he was still on break.

Rin looked up. "Aw, really? You couldn't have wished for anything more challenging?" He flicked the match out and set his feet on firm ground. "Tell you what: I'll make you a prince instead! Prince Ali? The Czarina?" His companion was still frowning. "Oh, all right. Here goes." In a flick of a finger all-too-reminiscent of Aladdin's Genie, there was a big commotion in the casino. "Looks like somebody won the big pot," Rin exclaimed, delighted.

#1 looked at Rin unsurely, and then ran to where the commotion is. He heard one of the managers, "Number 3469! That's the ticket for whoever won the billion dollar prize! Who has it?" Everyone checked their pockets and looked at their tickets; he saw mostly disappointed looks from the crowd. He reached in his own pocket and magically there was a ticket in his hand '3469'. He whispered almost hazily, "I won..." he spoke louder, "I WON!!" The manager looked up at #1 with a shocker look, "Lance?! You won?!" #1 ran toward him with the ticket. He showed it with big grin, the manager immediately grabbed his hand and laughed, "Alright! You won!" The manager took #1 to the private lobby area and handed him the check. #1 smiled and big grin, holding the check for a billion dollars. "This is so great!" he said, his manager grinned, "I'll get you ride to the bank immediately to cash it!" #1 nodded at him and waited for him in the lounge. "Maybe that genie is real..." he sighed, "It could be just a coincidence too though."

"Maybe? I grant your wish and all I get is a maybe?" Rin pouted, appearing in the seat next to him. "Don't I amaze you? Bedazzle you? Make you want to jump for joy that you are the luckiest person in the world?" All of these exclamations were punctuated by sweeping flailing of the arms and expressive faces. "Ask me something else. Light a match and ask to be the ruler of the world."

#1 almost fell out of his seat again of Rin's sudden appearance. He pointed at him almost shakenly, "You...H-How did you do that?! It's impossible! It's not scientifically logical!" He sat up gazing at Rin, "Although I have desire to be ruler of the world. I-" He was interrupted by his manager who walked in the private lobby with his coat. The manager spoke, "Ha ha, I knew you'd win Lance, I should start calling you #1 again...eh...who's your friend?"
#1 blushed, "Um...he's uh....he's..." looking back up at Rin, not sure what he should call him, do Genies have names?

"I'm Rin!" he introduced himself loudly. "His good luck charm," he added with a wink. "The two of us work so well together I wouldn't be surprised if we could take over the world." He laughed jovially, shaking the manager's hand just as vigorously.

The manager sweated a little, "Is that so?" #1 slapped his hand over his face in emberassment. He grumbled about good things could just as well be bad things. He grabbed Rin's arm, "You know what, it's ok Mr. Pratick, I can go cash it myself." The manager raised his eyebrows, "But it's dangerous out there, especially if you're carrying that check." #1 said bluntly, "I'll be fine, tootsie roll here will protect me if anything bad happens." He dragged Rin out of the private lobby, "Alright, Rin, I want to clear up some things. One, people here aren't exactly use to magic, so lay low. Two, you being super happy, scares me. Three..." He blushes a little, "Could you um...hang around with me until I get to the bank? This isn't a wish or anything, it's just, well, Las Vegas can get a little crazy, you know?"

"It's not if you're the ruler of the world," Rin pointed out, trying to look smug. "But you know what, I was just kidding about that." He giggled. "Gotcha, didn't I?"
As they walked out of the casino, realization started to dawn on Rin. "Hey, wait a second... does lay low mean no flying? I have to stay by you and no flying?" He made a little jump in the air and floated briefly, hugging his toes. "My poor little feet." With a snap of wood sandals on concrete, he came back down again. "So... what are you going to do with that billion dollars after you make it to the bank?"
