I got a detention from my studyhall teacher for not doing homework. Like really, I dont know jack squat about the math were doing plus I was pulled out of class to go to tehe guidance office cause the school thinks I am suicidal so I have to see the social worker and therapist like every other week. And I wasnt sure what to do on my english so I was gonna ask my teacher. But yeah, I got a detention! Seriously. Dont they want me working and I even finished both of them too! So comments on this are appreciated. Oh and I refuse to go to it too. They can just give me community service
EDIT: And here is the infamous detention slip:

((Ranting...))
Is it just me or are detentions getting more and more ridiculous? I remeber the time when people only got punished for cussing out a teacher, hitting someone, intentionally breaking something, constantly distrubing the class during a lesson...ya know...things that affect society as a whole.
Now you get in trouble if you yawn or have a little bit of mud on your locker. I mean come ON! The world is not going to be tossed off its axis if one student doesn't work on their homework at an exact moment in time. I'm quite sure there won't be anarchy in the classroom in which everyone starts throwing their homework around.
People need to get a life of their own and stay out of other folks business stare .
I have a friend who had the cops called on her just because she came to the guidance consulor to talk about her depression. She wasn't suicidal, just sad. Not every upset teenager is going to put a gun to their head or something. My god, if that was true, there wouldn't be any teenagers left. It's good that they want to help those that are suicidal, but they need to go about it in a way that won't make one homicidal stressed .
Another friend of mine got a detention for leaving his books in the classroom. The reason they wrote down for the detention was "A diliberate display of rebellion." rofl I think they need to experience the Boston Tea Party or the Boxer Rebellion or the Valentines Day Massacre. Those are diliberate displays of rebellion. Leaving something behind is forgetfulness.
Maybe the teachers are just bored with the calm, reasonable, maturity that most teenagers are now. They're trying to make a big deal out of nothing to make their own lives more interesting rolleyes .

A few words to describe it... Lact of Rational Thought. The thing with people today is to jump first, realize later. A deadly thing to do... eshendoi.
Maybe you should go to a school like mine. Small, accepting, and they think before they do.
@ Little Tigeress: People are worrisome little freaks. They often, "OMG, this kid's got (insert a related disorder here), I have to call/get the (insert proper response team to previous disorder here)" on the slightest problem. People overreact, and in the end, will never realize it...

YEah Wilson is so last decade. But I dont really like my dad. Hes never done anything for me or my brothers at all. He hasnt even called me on my birthday for like the past 4 years and yet when we do talk to him hes always complaining about how we never see eachother or talk anymore. Its not mine n my brothers faults we hate our step mom. We cant stand her. Shes a total bitc*. I want her to swallow a knife and die. I even said that to her too.

But everyone keeps telling me I should speak my mind. Dont keep things in, she was asking for it too and I even threatened to stab her one time and I was thrown into a mental hospital for like a week. I didnt even have a knife anywhere near me and I forgot my pocket knife at my house too.
