 .Guild Rules.

Welcome to the ElderSpark guild! Whether you are a visitor, lurker, or owner, this is where the pulse of most activity regarding roleplaying will take place. (In theory anyway). As a member, you are free to read journals, post in threads according to their rules, and, most importantly, to have a good time. If you find yourself in need of assistance, or with a question you would like answered, ElderSpark's staff would be happy to assist you.
:What You Can't Do Here:Our ultimate goal is to have everybody get along with one another and have no fighting whatsoever. We know from experience that this is something that likely can't and won't happen, but we just ask that you give it your best effort. Until then, here are our rules:
1. Do not assume control over anyone else's character/pet. You are not at liberty to play someone's character for them in their absense. Exceptions may be made if you have permission, but please make sure the staff is aware of it.
2. Do not post in journals without prior permission from the owner. You may have the best intentions and just want to leave a gift, but the owner of the diary, in the end, has the final say. Please read the front page and see if you are allowed to post before you do.
3. Please do not bump or spam any topics. We can't all be here all of the time. If someone doesn't answer you, there's no need to bump your thread with "Hello? Anyone there?" over and over. Likewise, diaries do not need bumps. So please don't.
4. Do not create OOC chat threads We have one OOC topic for chatter and one is all we need. Please only create an OOC topic if you have a question or an announcement that the rest of the guild needs to see.
5. Do not harrass others Really. Don't. This includes asking to buy someone else's Kyendi/ElderSpark pet. And we highly encourage anyone who's being hassled either publically or privately in this guild to inform the staff as soon as possible and that person will be dealt with.
6. Do not hassle the staff about your Pala being updated. I know you hate to hear "We'll get to it when we get to it", but unfortunately that's the system we run on here. Complaining will accomplish nothing and patience is a much-rewarded virtue.
 .Tagging Your Threads.At the beginning of each thread topic must be a ".:[@@]:." where the @@ is replaced by the appropriate abbreviations.
To prevent confusion while posting in any RP topic, please use (())'s or []'s (or some similar method) when speaking out of character.
.:[INFO]:. Information Post. These are staff posts that usually contain useful information on Palas, the guild, Kyendi, etc. Guild members should make a point of reading these threads whenever one appears. Only ElderSpark Staff may make INFO threads. Please note: all informational threads, such as this one, will be locked.
.;[!!!!]:. Announcement Topic. This type of topic can only be created by ElderSpark staff and will signify important announcements. Readng these threads will likely be to your benefit.
.:[ERP]:. ElderSpark Role Play. This represents official areas that are open to the public. Generally RP events run by the shop staff will take place in these threads. Please be sure to take some time to read the individual thread descriptions before RPing in an ESRP area. Only Staff members may make ESRP threads.
.:[OOC]:. Out of Character Chat threads or anything that falls out of character or is not related to roleplaying must be marked with this tag. You do not have to use (())'s or []'s while in an OOC thread.
.:[PRP]:. Private RP This marks a private rp. Only those invited on the first page may post in this thread. Any posts found by those not invited to the thread may be deleted, on the PRPer's request.
.:[ORP]:. Open RP Open rp threads may be created/joined by any and all guild members.
.:[JRNL]:. Journal These are the journals of Pala owners. Please read the first page of each journal before posting within it. Some may allow outside posting, some may not. Please be mindful of the owner's wishes. Please PM The Wandering Lady if you would like a journal created for you. Only The Wandering Lady may make JRNL threads.
