my brother, the worst gamer in the world, said i can't play anything anymore b/c i'm a girl! when i own most of the games he plays. any of you guys ever been told that b/c your a girl?

Yes....my brother said that to me once when he beat me in InuYasha Feudal Combat.....only 'cause I let him win....I mean, there's no way a 7 year old just learning to control Koga could beat a 13 year old who has fully mastered how to use InuYasha without a cheat being used.

wow o.o I guess I'm lucky.
I'm only one year older then my bro, so we grew up together and like the same things, video games, anime, music, and ect, and we play together, and actually find it boring if we don't play together, or at least someone play the one player game while the other watch xd I know my brother is better then me in some games, but there are other games I'm better against him too. So gender isn't an issue, that and my bro got friends that are girls and gamers sweatdrop

I've never been told that. The only boy I really play games with is my little cousin and he has never told me that cuz he likes playing video games with me.

no, but people are suprised when i show an interest and knowledge of video games.
my big brother's the very reason i play games. he always had that genesis up in his room, and it wasnt long before i was allowed to play it.
everything just kind of grew from there.

My brother has aways been cool when it came to playing games. I'm not a better gamer in some ways but he's sucky at some games I'm really good at. We are about equal in fighting games. Except for Darkstalkers. I beat his a** in that game. xd I think its because my parents never said that us girls couldn't play. I remember this one time we went to a lady's house and she wouldn't let us play SNES even though we really wanted to play. My brother got to play with the other guys even though he was like 3. stare Me and my sister had to watch crappy movies. gonk

my nephew says that i cant/shouldnt play a lotta games cause ima girl. he's only 7 and already i wanna poke him a lil -.- lol

My lil bro and I used to play games a lot. He doesn't want to play with me anymore only my guy friends. The only time he will play with me is if they come over to play. But back in the old days we used to play together all the time.

ive never had a problem with sharing games with my brother
the problem is that he thinks he can barrow mine the moment i get a new one! stressed

I have three younger brother who are all video game fanatics. My brother's don't really say I'm bad because I'm a girl, they treat me just like any other teammate, when I'm playing bad they always say it, but not in a mean way. My brothers are the main reason I started playing video games, although I started playing on the original Nintendo before they were born or could hold the controller. I did kinda quit for a while, but they got me totally hooked on Halo 2 so now I play all the time lol.

I have the problem where my little brother (who is half my age) will criticize my game playing or the game itself; saying its stupid and such. However when he plays he gets all upset and pissed because hes so bad at playing games.

I've never had that problem but when I was very young and did suck at games.
I remember me, my brother, Peggy and Billy (my cousins) would play Goldeneye (slaps mode xd ) and I did suck. Really bad.
But I was just around 7 then...
I've improved considerably. heart

My brother never said that, but that's because I always kick his a**. My brother's never finished a game. He has such a short attention span.
