When doing a msting and finding the intended fic you wish to mst, do you e-mail the author asking if you can mst their fic?

If I remember correctly, according to the SVAM/EWIC FAQ, you're supposed to ask for permission, generally, unless the author doesn't include an e-mail address(or if it's not in service?).

If I remember correctly, according to the SVAM/EWIC FAQ, you're supposed to ask for permission, generally, unless the author doesn't include an e-mail address(or if it's not in service?). Ahh okies. Always good to check on those sorts of things that it is.
