FORGOTTEN DOCUMENT JOURNALS "But at the same moment she understood, and a light of infinite happiness came into her eyes. She knew and had no doubt that he loved her beyond everything and that at last the moment had come. They wanted to speak, but could not; tears stood in their eyes. They were both pale and thin; but those sick pale faces were bright with the dawn of a new future, of a full resurrection into a new life. They were renewed by love; the heart of each held infinite sources of life for the heart of the other."

Name: Sonya Neve Rosia Pronounced: SON-yuh NEH-veh RO-zyah Meaning: Sonya - Slavic name meaning wise, Neve - Italian for snowGender: Female Age: Infant Race: Forgotten Appearance: Sonya has a rather fair complexion. Her translucent, cream colored skin is parchment pale, but generally appears to give off a healthy glow, with even hints of rosy pink under her eyes. She has fine flaxen blond hair, silky as sable and cropped quite close to her head, and her soft pink lips and long lashes complete the porcelain doll look. An abstract rosette, apparently some sort of birthmark glyph, adorns her right cheek. The most striking thing about Sonya is undoubtedly her brilliant blue eyes that appear to contain a light of their own. They are lambent and clear, and their appearance seems to range from dreamy to acute depending on Sonya's mood. As for clothing, Sonya wears a simple muted tunic. She is rarely seen without her green drap de dames shawl, an object that she seems extremely attached to. It is her 'blanket,' and despite its state of partial disrepair, she treats it as her most prized possession. Sonya's one decoration is an understated circlet made of a smooth black metal and adorned with a circular black jewel that appears to have a wine red tint in sunlight. Family: Tulla Lee "Tweek" Rosia (Guardian), Renewed (Daemon) Best Friends: --- Significant Other: --- Likes:Dislikes:Powers/Skills Thus Far:Hobbies: Name: Renewed Gender: Male Age: Baby Race: Daemon Appearance: Renewed is most similar to a pine martin in form, with short tawny brown fur, inky black eyes, and a refined pointed snout. He has small triangular ears and a long bushy tail that fluffs up when he's indignant or annoyed with someone, and his form gives off a faint albeit undeniable glow that seems to strengthen in the dark. On his back are two large gauzy wings, similar to those on a dragonfly. He's constantly flittering these wings at a rapid speed. While they do offer some lift, he cannot leave the ground as they are not yet large enough to support his body. Bond: Sonya Likes: Sonya Dislikes: Tweek, being away from Sonya Powers/Skills Thus Far: Glowing, mothering, extremely effecting fussing Hobbies:

Name: Tulla Lee "Tweek" Rosia Gender: Female Age: 23 Race: Appears Human Persuasion: Bisexual Occupation: Lab tech Appearance: A gangly woman with a nest of untamable blue-black curls. Her eyes are a grayish blue and are always hidden behind thick bifocals. She has a faint Y-shaped scar above her right eye of enigmatic origins--she always grows embarrassed and changes the subject when people comment on it. Tweek has little fashion sense and while her clothes are usually clean, they sometimes appear a bit frumpy. She prefers loose fitting apparal and often covers herself with a thin jacket or shawl of sorts. Family: Sonya ('Daughter') Best Friends: Mungo, Quinny Significant Other: --- Likes: Animals, plants, microscopes, warmth, Chinese takeout, friendly people, loyalty, a good sense of humor, figuring out how things work Dislikes: Bigots, pretentious or judgemental people, cold temperatures, tomato products Hobbies: Reading, writing, exploring Job: Tweek works as a lab tech in a botony lab in Durem city. She doesn't do hardcore research or anything, and mostly just takes care of simple arrangements for the resident scientists, preparing slides or agar and working the thermocycler and autoclave. She does run some simple experiments of her own involving microscopes and protist communities, but these are mostly for fun anyway. While she's just a low level technician and will likely never advance much further in her career, she enjoys her job and has formed some useful friendships with a couple of the brighter scientific minds in the community.

A set of Russian nesting dolls. They had been decorating the side table in the living room but as soon as I brought Sonya in she showed an immense fascination in them. She's already thoroughly explored them with her mouth. Oh well, so much for antiques... Sonya's first stuffed animal, an old octopus plushie I dug up from my childhood before I went shopping for her. He's a bit worn, but Sonya seems to like his floppy nature. A cute and very fluffy dog plushie I picked up for Sonya when I went shopping for her first items. It's a bit stiff (I think it may be stuffed with sawdust) but it's so soft! A Lotus blossom pendant. The vendor told me it was a symbol of purity and an emblem of ressurection. I thought it would match Sonya's dazzling eyes. I'll wait until she's a little older to give her this. Another trinket I couldn't resist. The fine-worked glass beads are so pretty! Sonya was quite fixated by the bracelet when I showed it to her. I let her wear it for a moment and she seemed pleased. A Chinese woman on the street pressed this into my hand as I walked by. She told me it was a good luck charm. I've hung it up above Sonya's crib. The marketplace wasn't exactly flocking with baby toys, but I figured this fan would be innocuous enough. Sonya's not exactly enthralled by it, but she does seem to get preoccupied with opening and closing it. A Japanese charm I thought was too pretty to pass up. It's now hanging over the door to the study I've turned into Sonya's room.

Horus is a wizened old Maine Coon cat who mysteriously showed up on Tweek's doorstep just over three years ago. He's easily settled into house life, though there is a keenness to him that seems to tell of his younger days. He generally stays out of the way of Sonya and Renewed, but he can be grouchy towards them, especially in the morning. He's usually found laying in the sun, or casting a doleful eye on the latest interlopers from the skirts of a situation he does not approve of.

Copyrights and Thankyous~The Forgotten Documents was created by the wonderful quietsnooze and Liz-liz Sonya and Renewed are owned and roleplayed by Tweek Sonya and Renewed's characters were originally designed by Tweek and were expanded by Liz-liz The excerpt was written by Fyodor Dostoevsky and is from his famous book Crime and Punishment. (Read it!) Forgotten Staff - Thank you so much for running such an exciting contest. Of course, I owe a huge thank you to the judges for entrusting Sonya to me. I don't think I could ever express how grateful I am. I'll do my very best not to let you down! heart quietsnooze - Phoo, your dedication in keeping your incredible shop alive is part of why Sonya exists today, as well as your generosity and willingness to take a chance on a FeeDee newbie. Thank you so much for all your hard work. I don't know if I've ever encountered a kinder, more hardworking shopkeeper. You're absolutely spectacular. <3 Lizzi - You turned Sonya into something more wonderful than I could ever have dreamed up myself. Your interpretations astounded me with their insight and trueness to a character I thought I knew, but soon discovered I in fact had only a glimpse of. And the shawl is such a perfect conceit. ;3; Thank you, Liz, you're amazing in every way.

Theme Songs!Official Theme SongLiz On Top of the World (Dario Marianelli)To Listen to Preview: Copy the following and paste in your browser window - http://dw.com.com/redir?ltype=&siteid=31&edid=3&asId=&astId=&ctype=&cval=&ptid=5024&onid=49&useract=31&destURL=http://sg1.allmusic.com/cg/smp.dll?link=8ksm24dwi15wqgvjh6mbrbq&z=MP3&r=20.asxThis is one of my favorite piano pieces and I think it really describes the character I have in mind for Sonya. I wish I could find a link to the full-length mp3 so you could hear the entire thing! If you'd like the entire song, PM me and I'll email you the full mp3 for your enjoyment. ^_^ --- The following are snippets of songs that I feel describe Sonya in some way, whether relating to her past life, her present life, or both.1000 Words - International Version Though a thousand words Have never been spoken They'll fly to you Crossing over the time and distance holding you Suspended on silver wings And a thousand words One thousand confessions Will cradle you Making all of the pain you feel seem far away They'll hold you forever Galileo - Amy Grant Who needs a rhyme or a reason Some dreams were made to find So I know that I must follow Ask me just how much I love you You are starlight, I'm Galileo Even on the darkest night I will find the shining light Memory - Andrew Lloyd Webber Every street lamp seems to beat a fatalistic warning. Someone mutters and a street lamp gutters and soon it will be morning. Daylight. I must wait for the sunrise, I must think of a new life And I mustn't give in. When the dawn comes tonight will be a memory too And a new day will begin. One Day I'll Fly Away - Moulin Rouge One day I'll fly away Leave all this to yesterday Why live life from dream to dream? And dread the day when dreaming ends One day I'll fly away Fly, fly Away
