I don't really have a fav manga publisher. Tokyopop has gotten a bit better with their translating, but their print quality sucks, Viz has bad translations but decent print quality, Dark Horse is too expensive. I geuss I like Del Ray the best (out of the American publishers), though I've only read xxxholic from them, and I don't know how well they translated it (though it seems to be okay). As far as Japanes publishers go, I don't know to many of them, but Flower Comics produces some good ones.

I would have to say that on sheer volume I favor Tokyopop. I do enjoy Del Rey's manga. Dark Horse is nice, even though it is expensive. Viz is okay just some of the translations are not so good i.e Naruto.

Dark Horse (Blade of the Immortal xd ). I'm kinda stuck between tokyopop and viz. Probably Viz (even though I own more tokyopop titles).

I'd have to say Tokyopop. I know tons of people hate them, but they shouldn't. Right now they are the largest manga publishing company with the most titles. And unlike some other manga publishers, they try to license titles that they think people will like, more for quality than quantity. I also like them because they really revolutionized the translating of shoujo titles and manwhas. Other manga publishers used to have almost all male titles, which I enjoy, but sometimes a soppy romance is exactly what I need. And before Tokyopop, manwhas weren't really available, but now other publishers are trying their luck with them as well. Plus, Tokyopop has really driven the manga prices down and has had them pretty low since the beginning. So, that's why I like Tokyopop. (plus their website is spiffy! And they tell you exactly when things are coming out and their things are actually in the stores when they're supposed to be etc. etc.)
