Currently featuring : Tobias le muse!  This is my own roleplay character, my lovable Tobias. This image is just done in pencil. It's not done yet, but I'll post a finished image when it is. I just thought I'd get some C&C before I ink him in all nice. Previously showcased http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b139/Seikochan08/Original/Alaa.jpg Meet Alaa Hart, I roleplay with this guy all the time and this is a character drawing I did for him. Some of the shading was lost in the scan...and his hand looks kind of awkward, but I tested out the pose myself and it is humanly possible for the hand to bend that way. It's mostly the angle that makes the hand look...odd... Voted 3-4, mostly 3.

Yeah! I like, it's cool. And yes, I agree, the hand does look awkward. Like it's disconnected or something....

Try giving the arms some space, lift them away from the body a bit. Having the arms drawn right next to the torso makes a figure stuffy and shrewdly withdrawn- if that's the look you're going for, great! But.... give some space between the arms and torso, it'll also improve the figure's body language.

Thumbs up on the gallery.
The Tobias piece looks good. You might want to work on the harp some more. It doesn't look to be at the same level as the rest of the piece. That and a line to show the bottom of the nose.

Yeah....the harp was kind of a last minute addition, I hadn't planned for it at all. Heh sweatdrop , it really does stick out huh?
Would you see the nose line? his face is forward, if I add the nose line wouldn't it look off?
Hmmm...and clothes...I'll try to work on that, though I'm not quite sure how to fix that. sweatdrop

You should be happy to know I am working on fixing up the parts suggested, I'll repost Tobias again with the slight modifications and see how it looks, when I get a chance to scan him.
