After much thought I can see why they are making the thread over one more time. I do agree after looking, there is an awful lot of spam and I do agree with we do have this guild.
What I am saying is this time lets do it right. We do deserve this a bit with having a mod run it, its our own faults really for getting from topic too much. We're getting one more chance to make the thread more positive, to not bash people. As fans we should get people into their older and newer stuff and be the ones to answer questions and such from people.
I understand if this gets locked, I just want this to be said to everyone.
So lets try to bring more of the chat and rping to threads here, if the thread gets slow because of it that just means more guild activity and we can always invite people to join the guild smile
Also if anyone has stuff to add on how we can make the thread (new and current) more positive and less spammy please put them here. This isn't a place to bash others ideas or name calling so if you're going to just hit the back button. thanks heart

the thread in the MF, sorry should have said that...
I mean just in here we all generally respcet each other so we need to take that respect to the thread.
Side note: Even if some of the newer people coming into the thread just like AI we need to respect that. Maybe they are new to green day and the only song they're heard was BOBD, AI or Holiday, that's cool recommend them some other songs to check out like those IE: BOBD->Good Riddance, etc... I mean I've been introduced to many bands by one hit songs, it made me want to listen to others and get more of a fill for many bands. It helps when someone who is a fan recommends good things smile

Ever since we started the new thread, I know that I've seen people be a lot nicer to those who state thier love for BoBD or American Idiot. More often that not, people ask them questions about thier favorite CD or any live performances they may have seen instead of screaming at them about being true fans. There are exceptions to that, but I don't think we're ever going to eliminate all of that. 'Tis sad, but true.
However, I don't think that a mod watching over us is going to help us. Like I said previously, one of the reasons that we re-created the thread was so that we could have an active regular control the first post. I really like the idea of us fans owning the thread and making it our own. Methinks that the ever-watchful eye of a moderator would ruin the whole atmosphere of our lovely thread, and I don't want see that happen. I do see what you are saying, but I still really don't like the prospect of a mod-operated thread.

if they dont know anything about green day and dont make any effort to then how can they expect to survive in a thread discussing that subject?
you cant deny these people are annoying and wont even remember green day in about a month. You just gotta know how to diffentiate these people from the real new fans and give them the chance to prove themselves, thats why i just ignore the odd random teenie fan post.

We at least do have our guild which I think its pretty damn rad of Zodokai to let us post what we'd like here without giving us too many ruless but more so guidelines smile I agree everyone is doing a better job heart I don't support the thread beign moved again, but it is happening so I'm accepting that. I'm just hoping this time everyone will win and the music forum will be happy with the thread.

It's stupid and pointless of them to have a mod re-create it, it won't make aidfference, a mod can delete bad posts weather they made the thread or not. rolleyes
