How about on the 666th day of birth of a demon/demoness is a ceremony where they take their first transmigration. A sort of ritualistic passing of rights if you will. smile
I actually have a little bit of story written with this idea if you want to try Achan. 3nodding

Woo.. Finally finished adding all these birthdays and such. @_@
For the 31st of October, two seperate holidays take place.
One is the Prinny Ball. Most demons don't know about it. The prinnies who are to finally leave with the shinigami the next night (the Red Moon) are the guests of honor, and celebrate their upcoming rebirth.
Demons celebrate this night as well as their new year. (November 1st is essentially January 1st, then.)
The Night of the Red Moon is from the game, obviously~
Kilraq, go into a little more detail about your idea?
