JOINING THE RP
1. Before you can join the RP, a bio must be approved by a crew member. The desired bio format can be found in the post below. Fill out the bio, adding as much or as little detail as you see fit. When finished, copy it to into the Request Form.
1a. Membership requests can only be 1000 characters in length. If your bio is too long, and can't fit in the Request form, PM the bio to Falathrim. Please mention that you've done so and the top of your request form. Feel free to spam the rest of the request form.
2. Should you fail to either attach your bio to your membership to the request form, or PM Falathrim with your bio, your request will be immediately rejected. Exceptions will rarely be made; but you are welcome to try and join again.
3. Once your character is approved, you will be asked to post your bio to the Character Profiles thread. Once your bio has been posted in the Character Profiles thread, you are free to begin RPing!
4. Shortly after being accepted, you should receive a Friend request from the guild mule, Telumehtar. You are required to accept this request. You do not, however, need to add Telumehtar to your own Friendslist. Failure to accept Telumehtar's friend request will likely result in being banned.
JOINING THE RP - INVITATION:
If you are invited to a guild, the request form is completely bypassed. Nonetheless, an approved bio is still required before you can start RPing. To have your bio approved, simply write it out, either before or after accepting the invitation, and then PM it to Falathrim. That's all there is to it!
GENERAL RULES:
- This guild is for Lord of the Rings roleplay only.
- Absolutely no cybering or flaming. Keep swearing to a minimum.
- Characters CANNOT be in two locations at the same time. To move to another location, you must RP the move in the location thread you are already in.
- Please keep Out Of Character posting to the OOC thread. It keeps our RP threads clean. Small, OOC comments may be added to RP-posts, so long as the actual RP is at least half the length of the post, and that the OOC comment is clearly marked.
- Please start each post identifying the Location of play in Bold.
Ex. Minas Anor- Courtyard
- This RP makes use of dates, so that a sense of time can be established. Using Elven dates can be confusing, but generally all that you need to do is copy the date from the post above yours.
- If you are inactive for a long period of time without providing a good reason, you may be removed from the member list. Don't expect us to take pity on you when you're informed of your removal after a month of no posts.
